- Boys Hostel
The College is a residential type institute providing hostel accommodation to more than 75% of the students both boys. the institute has two boys hostel.
- Girls Hostel
The College is a residential type institute providing hostel accommodation to more than 75% of the students for girls. the institute has one hostel for girls.
- Library
The College Library was established in 1948 in a small room and in 1952 there were 986 volumes of books on various engineering subjects valued Rs. 11,111/- in additions to a few journals. Now with a carpet area of 257.5 Sq. meter; there are 24591 nos. of books, including the textbooks the library has a good number of Reference Books in Engineering Subjects, along with Guide Books, Hand Books, Collections on Environmental Science, etc. besides a few nos. of journals and newspapers. The Govt. of Assam sanctions book grants from time to time. Every year the institute purses books from the student's fund also. Moreover, readers may also donate books to the library.
- Sports
The College has a large playground which is ideal for sports like football and cricket. Besides, the Institute earns revenue by way of letting out the playground for hosting exhibitions and public functions during the year. While a part of the revenue is deposited as Govt. revenue, another part is spent on maintenance works of the Institute.
- I.T Infrastructure
The College has Six Computer Laboratories under various Departments and a total of more than 200 computers. All Computer Labs have the facility of high-speed Internet connectivity for the benefit of staff and students.
- Cafeteria
The college has a canteen facility for the students and staff.
- Auditorium
The College has an Auditorium with a seating capacity of about 300 persons. It can host important seminars and events.
- Alumni Associations
The College Alumni Association was formed during the Golden Jubilee Year in 1998.
- Laboratories
The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students.
- Convenience Store
The College has a Sub Post Office facility.
- Medical/Hospital
The college has a health care center with a first and facility for the students.
- Guest Room/Waiting Room
The college has a guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
- Workshops
The College workshop of Assam engineering Institute has b passed through various stages of developments. Assam Engineering Institute was established in 1948 as " Assam Civil Engineering School” and actually it was the first- Technical educational Institute among the entire North- East States.

College Infrastructure
The college contains all the basics needed for the students . The college has the central library which contains all the books needed for the students.Hostels are somewhat good and rooms are decent enough. It contains fields for both cricket and football.

College Infrastructure
The college infrastructure has been improved a lot and now it is good. The college has all the basic laboratory facilities and equipments.Hostels are good enough and are well maintained .College campus was clean and hygenic.
It was an wonderful experience in this college.

College Infrastructure
Firstly, i would like to mention that the college infrastructure along with all necessary equipments were there in the college and each departmental laboratories. There were hostels for both boys n girls and well maintained by the college authorities.The library was also well organised.
