I feel the academic teaching quality is very high, particularly in complex areas like probability theory and statistical inference. My professors are highly dedicated and encourage me to solve problems rigorously. I appreciate the emphasis on mastering core concepts and mathematical foundations, which I know is vital for my advanced studies. I believe the curriculum is challenging but rewarding.
College Infra
I find the campus buildings are older, but the Statistics department's computer lab is functional for me. We have the essential software required for data analysis and practical sessions. The library is adequate, especially for accessing foundational mathematics and statistics textbooks. I sometimes wish the infrastructure was more modernized, but it serves my basic academic needs.
Campus Life
My friends and I find the college environment friendly, but the campus is physically small and lacks extensive sports facilities. Socializing is pleasant and we often participate in inter-departmental quiz and debate competitions. We frequently utilize local spaces outside the college for relaxation. I feel the social life is decent, but nothing spectacular.

I recognize that direct recruitment for a Bachelor of Science in Statistics Honours degree is minimal on campus. I feel the academic standard here is truly above average, consistently pushing me to master my subjects. My professors are highly dedicated and provide strong theoretical grounding in microeconomics and statistics. I receive personalized attention during doubt clearing sessions, which I appreciate deeply. I believe the teaching quality is outstanding and prepares me well for my future.
College Infra
I find the buildings possess a traditional, historic feel, which is appealing. My classrooms are spacious and comfortable for me, but the digital teaching aids are outdated or sometimes absent. The library is excellent for accessing crucial economics texts. I wish the college provided better maintenance for the overall facilities. I think the infrastructure is completely acceptable.

I am deeply engaged in the Economics Honours program, and I feel the teaching standards are exceptionally high, which I appreciate. The faculty members are highly supportive and push me hard in subjects like econometrics and microeconomic theory. I get excellent, detailed feedback on my assignments, which helps me improve my analytical skills substantially. I feel the rigorous curriculum is perfectly preparing me for my postgraduate studies.
College Infra
I find the college buildings have a classic, old-world charm, but I admit the facilities sometimes feel slightly outdated. My classrooms are spacious and generally clean, but I wish for modern digital teaching aids in every room. The library is excellent, and I spend a lot of time there accessing rare economics journals and resources. I recognize the infrastructure is manageable, but I often look for more modern amenities.

Is it worth to do diploma/advanced diploma in Software development at Asutosh College, kolkata?
See if you want to learn the thing then you can go for it. But don't keep expectation of placements etc as you know in such general degree colleges usually there aren't such facilities or proper facilities. So I would recommend you if you are interested in it then go
