Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours in English is a full-time four-year undergraduate degree course offered by the West Bengal State University, Kolkata.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate taking up Honours Course in a subject must have obtained:

i) A minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate and 45% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination.

ii) 55% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination.

iii) 50% marks in the aggregate when the candidate has not studied the subject in his/her previous qualifying examination provided all the other clauses are satisfied.

Admission Details

Admission in Honours Courses is made strictly on the basis of merit.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of this college is weak. The laboratories are not maintained . The buildings are getting older. The washrooms are so much dirty . There are no security guards in the main gate . No , this college don't have any WiFi networks in the campus . There is a ground which is good and large . The classrooms are big in size but not clean at all . There are no digitalized system for education. The canteen is not good but hygiene , the quality of food is poor .

College Infrastructure

College Infrastructure is average good . There is no WiFi service available in the college campus . All the buildings are old . The classrooms are large but not clean . The laboratories are maintained but the laborious are need to be updated . The library is not bad . There is no digitalized system for edition . The canteen is not good . There is no sports system available but there is a big ground for sports .
