B.A.: The Bachelor of Arts program in Basirhat College consists of admission according to eight specializations of study to be pursued under the degree. The admission is conducted purely on the merit of the candidate's marks in the 10+2 examination. The college offers honors in Bengali, English, Sanskrit, Philosophy, Political Science, History, Education, etc.
B.Sc.: Evidently, the college would offer seven specializations for the B.Sc. course. The merit for admission is considered to be based on the marks obtained for the relevant subjects in the 10+2 examination, in which honors are offered for Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, and Physiology.
B.Com.: There are two specializations for B.Com.; the admission for which considers the performance of candidates in the 10+2 examination, particularly focusing on subjects related to Commerce. An honors course in Accounting and Finance is offered.
M.A.: Basirhat College offers an M.A. in Bengali (Self Finance). Admission will be based on the scores of the candidates at the relevant undergraduate level. Basirhat College will announce the specific eligibility criteria and selection procedure for this course.
I am studying because I love to know many unknown information. In our college sir mam is very good and they provide us good quality teaching. Yes I think that my curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. I want to be a police officer in future.
The academic structure and condition is well here . There are almost all departments are available to complete your B.Sc and B.A courses . I'm studying B.Sc in Physics . All the departments are very good , the teachers are very helpful and every day all the classes are held punctually. In the laboratories our teachers examine the practical in a very simple way which helps us to understand .
I'm studying B.A Hons in History in this college . The academic field and records are good . The teaching quality is far better than previous years . The teachers are tried to give their best for our better learning .
