Bethune College is the first women's college in Asia.It is a renowned college and one of the oldest college in Kolkata.There is no doubt that this college infrastructure is very good.Equipments in laboratories and books in libraries are enough as needed on the basis of syllabus.Science and Arts libraries are separate,wifi is available also.Sports center opens only for few days before annual sports.The college encourages students for cultural sides also.Canteen's food are of reasonable price and

I am studying B.Sc. honours in physics in this college.All the teachers are very helpful and student friendly.Even the non teaching stuffs are also very caring and friendly.Quality of teaching is really appreciable.Practical classes are also held very regularly as scheduled routine.Teachers encourage students for so many extra curricular activities besides their study.

Placement or campussing is not so good.Campus placenent are occured by some companies like TCS,Wipro,Congnizant through test and interview.Though no of campussing is less but college is so supportive.

Being a Government college the amount of fees of this college is appreciable less than any other colleges comparatively.Even College helps those students who are daily passengers of any local train or have to be needed money support comparatively, by reducing their tution fees and daily train ticket cost

The college campus is too good.Students maintain their discipline and all the rules and regulations of the college.Students are engaged themselves with various cultural and creative activities besides their study.Most important as the teachers are so friendly and caring,if students have faced any trouble they easily contact to the respective teachers.And the security clerks and Gateman always maintain the security of the college.

Practical classes also held very carefully. Curriculum of students are regularly updated in the website. Office stuffs are very helpful for any official purpose.

Placement of this college is not so good. Campus placement is occurred by some companies like TCS and Cognizant. They take some pure science students through test and interview. For these campus placement college is supportive enough but number of campusing is less.

Being a government college, the amount of fees of this college is very small. It takes Rs. 800 for admission and session fees 660 for every 6 months. No additional charges demanded for any other purpose.

As it's a women's college the campus always remains calm and less chaotic. It provides a pleasant environment in the college. Many cultural programs held throughout the year and the programs maintain elegance. The college is situated at Hedua. The area is completely safe.

As it's a reputed college, quality of students is standard which provides healthy environment for studies. There's no hostel facility in this college but many paying guest and mess accomodation are available within 1km from college. Only honours courses are provided in this college, no general course is available here.

Yes,great infrastructure,excellent libraries,and well maintained.Everything was neat,clean and hygenic,sometimes when things were messy students greviance was accepted and acted upon immediately.Within a day or two things were done.

Yes it does.I am an ex student now but one should definitely be a part of this college It feels great yo be known as an bethunite from which college legends have graduated.Following their footsteps is great.

Maybe 20% needy ones took the job,the rest went on pursuing their career in different fields.Yes our college was supportive.They constantly supported us encouraged us to participate in the seminars which promised information relating to jobs.

Very interesting,learnt a lot

It has been a great experience studying in this college. Our department had great faculty and library facilities. We had access to both seminar library and the central library. Also a multipurpose room where we had our audio visual presentations. Wifi facility is available. Classrooms were clean and well maintained. Canteen food was hygienic. We also had access to various literary, sports, photography, art and culture clubs. It was great studying in this college.

I studied English Honours. Did my graduation from this college. And soon after I graduated, I got through the admission test of Jadavpur University with flying colours and I am currently pursuing my masters degree from Jadavpyr University. So the quality of education I got in Bethune College has undoubtedly opened future prospects for me.

Also in campus counselling is held in this college and people get placed with quality package. Also students get through great educational institutions for higher studies. The placement process was easy and we were provided with sufficient training prior the counselling.

Course fee is minimum. And the education we get is worth the money. Being a goverment college the tuition fees were meagre. And the facilities we got for that amount of money is really worth it. And the quality of education is superior.

Great campus life. Both professors and non teaching staff are very cooperative and helpful. Also there was students scouts. Life in campus was safe. Also the location of the college is in a prime spot in Kolkata. There are banks, medical stories and all other necessary spots nearby, in walking distance.

I had a great and productive time in the college. I received qualitative education from very kind educators. There was a friendly and very liberating atmosphere and we were encourage to participate in various intra and inter college activities and competitions.

The infrastructure of my college is very good. There are wifi available in Library and office room. Classrooms are well set up. in lkind of intrumentsments in laboratory are always available. Canteen facility is so good and food is enough hygenic.

In case of academics, I love my college specially my department. Our respective teachers are so much helpful and they always care us. And there are seminar library and science library for our study material.

There are well placement in my college. The students should have 75% attendance in every year. Campussings are held by the several private companies for 3rd year students and they offer a satisfied salary to every students.

Course cost in our college for every course is very cheap compared to the other colleges as it is a full government college.

College campus is so perfect for study. There are several kinds of cultural programmes like sports, fest etc held every year.

I always refer my college. It is situated in a very good position of the town and the surrounding of college is very peaceful. Faculty members are so kind and always behaves politely to the students.

The environment of the college campus is very good. Every year the Botany students use to plant trees. But I think the playground of the college can be better. The wash room of science building is very dirty. Canteen is not so spacious and the price of food items is little bit high for a college student. The professor and non-teachings stuffs r very good and kind to us. College provides smart class,seminars and student seminar.At the end of 3rd yr companies come for campusing.

I am doing bsc hons in physics. The professor of our department are very good kind hearts and polite to us. they guide us as our parents . They gives us smart class.eceryyear they use to arrange a student seminar which helps us in higher studies.

Every year 3rd yr students sits for interview for many companies like cognizant,Wipro,TCS etcs. They offers many students from our college for job. There are 2-3 steps of exams. And every yr many students get selected for job. The salary they offer avg 20k +

The monthly fee of the college is very very low . It's also take less money from the students who have financial crisis . Yearly the normal fee is (110*12=) RS 1320 in total.

Every year botany students plant trees which makes the environment very good.thecampus shouldhave more space. Teachers are very supportive for future planing in academics line they guide us very nicely. The college is situation at a very good place in North kolkata. There are many shops beside the college like stationary ,medicine, food etc. The place is less noisy and a very safe place mainly for girls. Every year students use to perform in inter college competition and inter University sports.

It's a very good college specially who are a new comer in Kolkata. It has a good academic records. Many students are engaged with curriculum activities.

It definitely completes one's interest and need, with all the needed infrastructure, facilities, and equipment. Classrooms, laboratories and especially the library is of great help. hygience maintenance is ok. well maintained.

Computer Science Hons. I like it. Very nice teaching way. You have to put in your own effort for being job-ready. Teachers will definitely help you, both offline and online. Just you have to keep trying to get what you need.

The college doesn't have a placement cell. they mostly promote higher education.placement is not offered, internships are mostly regarded. definitely prepares you for being an intern ready. encourages every time to join seminars to open paths for new future

We are always provided with all the necessary equipments that are required. All the machines are well maintained but regular cleaning of classrooms is required. The washrooms should be cleaner and should be more hygienic

All our professors are highly qualified. They look after all our problems. They always make every effort to make us understand the subject. We feel very free to talk to them. Our curriculum is updated and it includes all the recent developments in the field

I have not grduated yet but i have seen our seniors getting excellent placements from our college. Quite a few students from both undergraduate and postgraduate secured jobs in the recruiting companies such as cognizant. The package offered to a freshly passed out post graduate student is that of 4 lacs per annum

Since it is a fully government aided institution, the course cost per year is very less around Rs 2000 per year. The education received here is worth every penny. It is a very culturally rich college that offers high quality education at minimum cost

Our college campus is extremely beautiful and filled with Greenaries. It is a college having rich historical values and its ancientness can be seen in every of its building. The college is located at an extremely convenient location which is easy to reach. Even we have nearby hospitals where we can rush to during extreme medical emergencies

I am enjoying my college life fully. The girl's college is famous for its amiability and amity. It promotes anti ragging ideas and make sure that no student is harassed in any way. Lots of fun filled activities take place in our college which makes our college life more delightful. All the teachers and seniors are very kind and helpful. There is no reason to fear here, except the possibility of getting caught while bunking classes

Well-equiped and well-facilitated govt college with proper infrastructure for higher studies and overall learning. Campus is mostly clean, good food in college canteen. Hygeinic. WiFi, smart classrooms, projectors etc available.

Pursuing bachelor's degree in English literature. High quality teaching with highly qualified faculty members. Cordial and helpful professors. Curriculum is vast and updated, and the topics taught are enough for making students job-ready.

College does not offer placements. However, majority of the alumni are well-placed in their respective fields. Scope for internships are also available if kept a good rapport with the faculty or any organisation.

As I am pursuing B.Sc hons, the college provides pretty well facilities and assistance in the laboratories. Library is a very knowledgeable source for further studies. Sports room is well maintained. The food from the canteen is also fresh, but the sanitation of the washrooms is something, which is often complained about.

As the college is one of the highly rated colleges in Kolkata, the quality of teaching is very much satisfactory. It is one of the top 3 colleges for UG in the field of Psychology, so I am very satisfied to be a part of this institution. The career counselling cell, provides immense opportunity for future endeavours.

As I am a first year student, I am not pretty much aware of it till now. But, as far as my expectations are concerned, it gives a pretty well salary package for jobs. Our college is always supportive towards a student's betterment.

Being a government college, it is pretty much low cost, which is feasible for students from various financial background. I am pretty sure, that I am getting the worth of the paid money for my course.

Our college campus is very beautiful. The plantation, throughout the college grounds will attract anyone to be a part of it. The campus provides grounds for badminton championships, which keeps us motivated during the cold winter mornings. The students, teachers are very supportive and cooperative.
