I truly believe choosing Bachelor of Psychology Honours here was the right decision because of the amazing teachers. I have learned a huge amount from the professors in my department. They are all exceptional, they know a lot, and they really care that we understand the subjects well.
College Infra
I think the campus architecture is absolutely beautiful and holds so much history, which is why I love studying here. However, I must say honestly that the overall facilities feel a bit dated, which is why I gave it three stars. The main library is definitely a strong point because I can find all the resources I need for my courses easily. For my Psychology Honours course, I wish we had more modern and well-equipped laboratory rooms for practical work.
Campus Life
I have to say that my experience with campus life has been very lively and something I will definitely remember. I really like that this is an all-women's college, which creates a supportive, safe, and easy environment for me to take part in everything. I am active in some groups and I think the energy of my friends is contagious, especially when we have the annual festivals and cultural programmes.I did not give it five stars only because I wish there were more types of activities or more frequent events with other colleges.
Placements
To be completely honest, I do not think placement is the best feature here for my Bachelor of Arts Honours course. I have noticed over the three years that the college mainly prepares us to study further, like doing a Master's or research, instead of finding a corporate job right away. I know a few general companies visit the campus for basic jobs.
Value For Money
I feel I am getting an absolutely fantastic deal for the very small amount of money I pay for college fees. When I think about the strong teaching I get, the long history of the institution, and the good reputation of the college, the cost is extremely low.

Its women‑centric environment, coupled with safe spaces and community solidarity, makes it popular—though improvements in restroom upkeep and lab maintenance could enhance student comfort even more.

Though internships are provided to the students no companies visit the college. There's limited on-campus placement activity, indicating the potential need for proactive internship searches, especially in non-IT disciplines. Science honours (like Zoology, Botany) see fewer placement offers and a stronger trend toward higher studies or research .

Faculties are the most experienced ones. They have an integrated system to guide and help every students for their reference and study purpose. Nobody will have to take external notes for exams. The professors are always there!
College Infra
One of the best colleges in Kolkata in an amiable atmosphere. Easy transportation system, Spacious library with the seniors being the most helpful ones. The ambience, the experience will make it worth for a higher education.
Campus Life
It's memorable and will be on students' memory forever.
Placements
Yes there's some guarantee of placements if you study hard and stay in contact with the authorities. The college basically emphasizes on skill enhancement and character building abilities. Mass communication, marketing students get easy placements.

for Maulana Azad College :- PG admission is not started yet. In the admission page, they have informed candidates to check out calcutta university page daily for PG admission. you have to check it regularly for updates and apply as soon as form is released before the last date.
