48 MonthsBachelor of Technology in Computer Science Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by AICTE and offered by the Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg and affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must pass Intermediate Examination or equivalent (10+2 Level) from any recognized Board/University with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
For Lateral Entry (LEET) Second Year
Passing three-year diploma in engineering from any recognized Board/University/Institute with minimum 45% marks (aggregate) or with minimum 45% marks in the final year for UR category and 40% for SC, ST, OBC category and PWD candidates of Chhattisgarh is essential.
OR
Passing B.Sc exam from recognized Universiy/Institute with minimum 45% marks (aggregate) or with minimum 45% marks in the final year for UR category and with 40% for SC, ST and OBC category and with 40% for SC, ST, and OBC category and PWD candidate of Chattisgarh is essential. In addition, passing 12th with mathematics as the subject is essential. B.Sc candidate shall be considered only when diploma candidates are not available.
Admission Details
Qualifying examination for Admission - PET & JEE (Mains)
Admission to all the courses is conducted through Central Online Counseling administered by Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Chhattisgarh. The dates and other details of such counselling are displayed through advertisement in local newspapers as well as their official website (www.cgdteraipur.ac.in). However, admission under Sponsored Category, Part Time courses and management Quota seats are administered at the Institute level.

College Infrastructure
Bhilai Institute of Technology offers a pleasant and student-friendly campus with everything needed for quality education. The classrooms are tidy and spacious, equipped with projectors and whiteboards. All departments have their own laboratories filled with proper instruments and tools for hands-on practice. The library is large and peaceful, offering many books, journals, and access to online resources. Hostel facilities are decent, with clean rooms, proper food, and internet connectivity.

College Infrastructure
There are separate academic blocks, libraries, laboratories, and hostels for boys and girls. Laboratories are well-equipped with updated instruments, which help students perform experiments effectively. The digital library offers e-resources along with books and journals. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and smart classrooms are being added gradually. There’s also a healthcare center, bank facility, and canteen that serves hygienic food. Overall, the infrastructure is dependable for students’ academic and personal needs.

College Infrastructure
College offers a peaceful and well-maintained campus with all the essential facilities needed for technical education. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors. The library is well-stocked and provides a calm environment for study. Students have access to modern labs that are regularly updated. The hostel rooms are decent and safe, with good food and internet connection. There are sports grounds, a gym, and a canteen available.
