A student should have a minimum of a 10th pass as the entry qualification in the first year (1st Semester) of admission.

Students are admitted through Diploma Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE) conduct. Also, the ITI or vocational courses pass students direct admitted in the Second year (3rd Semester) through Diploma Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE (L.E.)). It is also conducted by BCECE Board. Govt. of Bihar.
