CMT B School Visakhapatnam Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

The Centre for Management and Technology, Visakhapatnam, is an AICTE-approved autonomous institution. The 2-acre campus provides a harmonious learning atmosphere located right next to the International Cricket Stadium and Panorama Hills. Being mainly into management studies, the Centre for Management and Technology has put in place a process intended to select bright candidates for its programmes. The academic year usually begins in July-August, and the admission process starts a few months prior. The candidates are required to appear for any one of the qualifying entrance examinations accepted by the institute.

For its flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programmes, Centre for Management and Technology accepts the scores of many national-level management entrance examinations, namely MAT, CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT and ATMA. On top of these, the Institute runs the CMT Admission Test. This flexibility to choose from so many exam scores guarantees diverse applicants. The eligibility criteria for candidates to apply for the PGDM programme include holding a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university. 

The application procedure at CMT B School, especially for PGDM, is a multi-step process:

• Selection: Shortlisted candidates based on the entrance exam scores are called in for the next round of selection, which includes the following:

  • Personal Interview (PI): This is intended to assess the personality, career goals, and fit of the candidate for the programme.
• Final Selection: The final selection takes place based on a composite score derived from performance on the entrance exam, academic background, GD performance, and PI evaluation.

Centre for Management and Technology PGDM Admission Process

The Post Graduate Diploma in Management is the flagship programme at CMT B School. An approved intake of 60 students per annum is there for the program, and admission is based on any one of the national-level entrance exams (MAT, CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, ATMA) scores or on the CMT Admission Test score. For final selection, a group discussion and personal interview are conducted, in which candidates are assessed holistically.

Centre for Management and Technology BBM Admission Process

The Bachelor of Business Administration programme with an approved intake of 60 students. However, specific admission details are not mentioned; it seems that admission will probably be based on the 10+2 results and possibly an entrance test and/or an interview.

Centre for Management and Technology BCA Admission Process
