I am studying MBA right now at IFMR because i wanted to do a management course and i have chosen finance as my specialisation. The quality of teaching is very good as most of the teachers are from IIM's or PHd degree holders and have very good knowledge. The curriculum is up to date and according to the current industry requirement and needs. The study involves real time case competitions and live projects too where we get to learn about the current industry trend and requirement.
College Infra
Yes the college has amazing 2 big buildings each of 4 floors and have very good facilities have AC classrooms too. The classrooms have big smartboard and a blackboard as well which makes learning easier. There are many sport fields and courts like football field, badminton court, basketball court, cricket nets. The living spaces are very good and cleaning happens after every alternate day and the food is very hygenic and have different varities of it on each day.
Campus Life
College campus is very big around 40 acres and have all the facilities be it sports to latest technology based classrooms. The main problem is that the campus is far from chennai it is in outskirts of chennai so there is no outer life. Students engage in different clubs and comities in the college which organise events. The staff is very helpful and supporting all the times. It is very safe college many measures are taken in the college to ensure safety of students. It has a medical centre too which can handle emergencies.
Placements
Placements are really nice as many main finance companies come for placements like JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, HSBC and many more. The average package is around 13 LPA and most of the companies the come for placements are of finance. Around 95 percent of students are placed with highest package around 22 LPA. The placement process is tough you need to clear many rounds like Group discussions Personal Interview to get selected in a company.
Value For Money
Course cost is 20 Lakhs including hostel and mess charges as well as these are compulsory in this college, so per year it is 10 Lakhs. If we see the average package is 13 lakhs and total cost is 20 lakh so i think it is worth it the ROI is great and the college itself is an experience that the student will live and learn a lot from it.

I am 2nd year MBA student, taking finance as my majors. Faculties are very professional with excellent subject knowledge. Yes, the curriculum is updated as per the standards required in the industry and workplaces.
College Infra
Yes, the college provides all the necessary amenities required. The campus is so beautiful and greenery all around. There are in total 7 hostels for boys and girls with clean spaces and good facilities provided.
Campus Life
Its a residential college program, so campus life is awesome. Many events and functions keeps on going every month, very much exciting and new way of experience. Many clubs and committees within the college that organise activities.
Placements
100% placements being provided by the college. Great reputed companies visit campus for final placement as well as for summer internship. 90% finance companies along with remaining from marketing, operations and IT sector.
Value For Money
For the year 2022-2024, it costs 18 lakhs per student. Placements are good here and also the teaching staff and facilities provided to a B-School student, all are at par as compared to the course cost.

I am currently pursuing my MBA from IFMR and the academics here is quite satisfactory. We are exposed to a lot of resources and different specializations like HR, Finance, Marketing, Data science, Operations and quantitative finance. Curriculum is well up to date with relevance to the market needs.
College Infra
IFMR has a good infrastructure with proper facility of library and academic buildings 24/7 available for the students to study, learn and explore. All classrooms have cameras and projectors. We have all the sports facility and proper badminton, basketball, football and volleyball courts. The campus is always clean.
Campus Life
IFMR Campus is really beautiful without a doubt. Sricity is quite and beautiful. The campus life is really enjoyable because of the beautiful campus we have. The faculty here is very helping and supportive and the supportive staff is also very generously helping in any kind of help required by the students.
Placements
Internships in the first year was 100%. All the students got internships in good companies, not all the internships were paid but we have very good reputed companies coming to our campus. For the batch of 2021-23 all the students got placed in very good companies with a decent package. Placement process for the companies differed based on the company requirements and competition.
Value For Money
The course costs 9Lakhs per year and total fees is 18L including the hostel and food. The college tries their best to provide with the best to their students. For any problem, the students can mail the respective authority and the response is quite quick. We have student council whop also makes sure that the students are not facing any problems and if any how can they solve it as soon as possible.
