Chandra Kona Vidyasagar Mahavidyalaya offers a B.A. (Honours) programme. The college offers several B.A. Honours programmes in different subjects as well as admissions to Sanskrit, Philosophy, Education, English, Bengali, History, and Santali. The admission procedure for these subjects is based on merit points computation as laid down by Vidyasagar University. For instance, against 85 sanctioned seats of the B.A. Sanskrit Honours programme, there are only 40 seats for the B.A. Philosophy Honours.
Chandra Kona Vidyasagar Mahavidyalaya offers a B.Sc. (Honours) programme. B.Sc. Honours programmes include Computer Science, Mathematics, Chemistry, Economics, Physics, and Geography in addition to those available from the Chandrakona Vidyasagar Mahavidyalaya. The merit-based admission process is also applicable to these courses. Approved intake for the B.Sc. Computer Science Honours programme is 40 students, 24 for B.Sc. Mathematics Honours, and 15 for B.Sc. Chemistry Honours.
Chandra Kona Vidyasagar Mahavidyalaya offers a general B.A. and B.Sc. programme. Opposite to the general programmes offered by the college for BA/BSc completers who are a bit curious about almost everything. The B.Sc. general programme approved intake is 40 students. Promotion into these programmes is also based on merit, from ranks in the qualifying examination.
