Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Bihar Engineering University, Patna.

Eligibility Criteria

The Candidate should Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Admission Details

Admission in DCE for four years B. Tech. the course is made through Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (B.C.E.C.E.) conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. The candidates desirous of seeking Admission in DCE are advised to appear in the Screening & Main Examination of B.C.E.C.E. The details for filling up the form for B.C.E.C.E. are available in its prospectus.

College Infrastructure

The classrooms, hostel, library and all are very good. I enjoyed 4 years of engineering there. I studied and learned so many things. All the faculty members are very nice. I did my internship from Patna on Java with Oracle database. The college campus is very natural. There are so many tree and flowers.

Didn't have a great time in my college years.

College Infrastructure

The college is situated in the outskirts of the city. It has all the basic facilities available but is not maintained throughout. You have hostel, Libraries, Mess but the food quality is not up to mark. The cleanliness in and around the campus is average.

Really good place to be.

College Infrastructure

The college does have a very good infrastructure. There are labs with all the equipments required. The class rooms are well maintained. Smart class is not installed but the quality of study is really good. Library and sports facility are also good. Living spaces are clean.
