Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S) is a five-year course, with four years of study followed by a year of compulsory internship, which prepares students for patient-oriented dental practice and emphasizes prevention and early detection of dental disease. Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and approved Dental Council of India (DCI).

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate shall be eligible to join the BDS course if he /she has passed the two-year Pre-University Examination of Karnataka’s Pre-University Board (or equivalent qualifying examination of other recognized boards) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as one of the languages of study.
Candidate shall have obtained not less than 50% of the aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology took together, and a pass in the English language in the qualifying examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru (Bangalore), Karnataka. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) students or students of any other categories notified by the government shall be given a relaxation of 10% in the aggregate marks required for eligibility. He / She shall have obtained the required percentile marks in the NEET Examination as notified by the authority

He/she should have appeared and qualified in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).

It’s a good college for dental students

College Infrastructure

It’s one the most beautiful college campus in Bangalore !!! The college is very spacious with 3 canteens and 2 hostels .. coming to classroom . They are really spacious with projector !! Plus we have multiple libraries in the college to help the students for a peaceful study time !! Coming to dental departments we have brand new dental chairs in every departments which are the latest models .. there is 8 floor for each department !!! Patient records are all computerised for easy access for future treatments !!

College Infrastructure

The college has good infrastructure. The Prostho department has intraoral scanners, and there's a separate, well-equipped clinic for general dentistry. The college has a computerized system for record keeping and accurate data management. Patient flow is good

Infrastructure is brilliant! Love the campus and entire environment is clean and green which offers peace. There are many beautiful places in the campus for capturing pictures and overall the infrastructure plays important role in the admissions.
