Ph.D Food and Nutrition at Dr NGP Arts and Science College, Coimbatore Offline Course

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time three/six-year Doctoral program and it is offered by the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.

The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics was started in the year 2003 offering the course B. Sc. in Food Science and Nutrition with well - equipped laboratories. Post Graduate course in Food and Nutrition was started in the year 2004. The department also extends the activities of research by offering Master of Philosophy in Food and Nutrition from the year 2005 and Doctorate of Philosophy from the year 2016 onwards. The Department has qualified and well-experienced faculties.
