      ELIMS College of Pharmacy, Thrissur Admission Process

      ELIMS College of Pharmacy Thrissur is a very young institution affiliated to the University of Calicut, and recognised by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). It offers Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.) foundation courses in India with an intake of sixty students through the merit and management quota selection systems. The main entrance examination in obtaining ELIMS College of Pharmacy admission is KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination) usually conducted yearly by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala. 

      Eligibility pertaining to B.Pharma, ELIMS College of Pharmacy adds that the candidates are to have written 10+2 or its equivalent by having Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as compulsory subjects, with a minimum mark as prescribed by regulatory authorities of the society. ELIMS College of Pharmacy admission process is as follows:

      • Merit Seats (50%): Admission is made sincere according to rank list formed by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations using the index marks of KEAM.
      • Management Quota (50%): Seats are filled by the Kerala State Self Financing Pharmacy College Management Association (KSSPCMA) for B.Pharm.

      ELIMS College of Pharmacy Application Process

      Admission to ELIMS College of Pharmacy is through the following application process:

      • Application to KEAM:
        • Visit and fill in the online application form through the official KEAM site.
        • Pay application fees.
        • Relevant documents should be uploaded.
        • Submit it on time.
      • KEAM Test:
        • Download KEAM admit card from the official.
        • Appear for the KEAM examination as per schedule in the online manner.
        • The paper comprises questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.
      • Results & Rank List:
        • KEAM results are available under their official site. 
        • A rank list is discovered from the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations to be prepared based on the KEAM scores.
      • Counseling and Allotment of Seats
        • The qualified candidates will be called for counseling as per their rank
        • During the counseling, candidates will have the option to choose ELIMS College of Pharmacy and the B.Pharma programme.
        • Allotment will be made on merit and availability.
      • Confirmation of Admission
        • Report to ELIMS College of Pharmacy within the specified time by the candidates who are confirmed with a seat.
        • Submit to the office the following documentation: (includes: KEAM rank card, 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates, transfer certificate, migration certificate (if applicable), caste/category certificates (if applicable), and all other documents required).
        • Pay the required admission fees in order to reserve the seat.
      • Admission through Management Quota: Interested candidates may write to KSSPCMA regarding details and specific management quota procedures which are dependent upon that association.

      ELIMS College of Pharmacy B.Pharma Admission Process

      A bachelor's degree in pharmacy (B.Pharma) takes four years of full-time study, with an authorised intake of 60 students in ELIMS College of Pharmacy. ELIMS College of Pharmacy admission procedure of B.Pharma comprises the following:

      • The candidate needs to appear for the KEAM examination.
      • 50% of the total seats (Merit Seats) are based on the rank list prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations based on KEAM rankings.
      • The remaining 50% of the total number of seats (Management Quota) gets filled by KSSPCMA. 
      • Candidates must complete ten plus two education in which Physics Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics are compulsory subjects.
      • Candidates would have to secure a minimum number of marks defined by the statutory boards.
