Batch of Jan. 1, 2017 | Ph.D Management
I m doing Ph.D. in Management from FMS. The college is very famous for placements in MBA. It is actually a very good college if you are taking admission in MBA. But, right now I am writing a review only about the Ph.D. course. Let's start with the good points. The first good thing is that fee is very low. It is only RS. 850/- for a year. Many private colleges are charging lacs of rupees for per year of Ph.D. course. The second point is Brand image. The college has a very strong brand image of the courses and you will be able to get a job in teaching very easily. Now let's discuss some negative points: (1) Infrastructure Very poor. Only one small building. Dirty and empty water coolers. Dirty bathrooms with no water. No playing ground. (2) Hostels Though I am not a hosteler, I have heard from my friends that the food is very poor quality and the hostel rules are very strict. (3) Faculty They are good only if you have some previous knowledge of research methodology otherwise they don't guide you much. (4) course work The worst course works ever. You won't learn anything. I have written the facts based on my experiences while studying in FMS.
