Gour Mohan Sachin Mandal Mahavidyalaya (GMSMM) is recognised as one of the greatest institutions in Bireswarpur, 24 Parganas South, West Bengal, the college is affiliated with the University of Calcutta, which boasts an extensive range of undergraduate programmes in different spheres. Gour Mohan Sachin Mandal Mahavidyalaya admissions are strictly merit-based, so that deserving students can have access to the courses of their choice. Similarly with every other institution, Gour Mohan Sachin Mandal Mahavidyalaya admission cycle starts when 10+2 results are released by various boards. GMSMM has several B.A. programmes like BA Bengali, BA English, BA History, BA Political Science, BA Philosophy, BA Education, and BA Sanskrit. A total of 1,658 seats exist for B.A. programmes in the college. Admission to B.A. Honours courses, such as Bengali Honours (219 seats) and History Honours (140 seats), is strictly merit-based, considering marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
There are 122 seats available in the college for B.Sc. courses, which include, B.Sc Mathematics, B.Sc Physics, B.Sc Zoology, B.Sc Botany, B.Sc Chemistry, and B.Sc Geography. For B.Sc. Honours in Geography, the admissions are conducted strictly on the basis of merit.
GMSMM has B.Com programmes with 37 seats which includes B.Com Accountancy Honours. In GMSMM admissions into B.Com., courses follow merit based approaches.
