Government Degree College, Patancheru offers admission to 1st year BA/BSc/BCom/BCom (Voc). Government Degree College admissions to the 1st year of the 3-year Degree courses will be made in order of merit. Government Degree College admissions to the BSc I year course should have passed and secured an aggregate of 40% marks.

Government Degree College admissions are given based on the aggregate marks secured by the candidates at the qualifying examination in one attempt. While calculating the percentage of marks for admission at Government Degree College, 0.5 and above shall be treated as 1 (that is, 39.5% and above shall be treated as 40%).
