Infrastructure is great. The library is enough big and is the best place to study in the entire college. Sports club is moderately active. Many intra and inter college tournaments are played. There is a gym also.
I'm a second year student majoring in geology. The quality of teaching is good. The faculty is well versed with the core subject and the GE and AECC teachers are okay. The bottom line is you have to study on your own but the professors will always be there to guide.
For my department, i.e geology the placements is nil for bachelors. Though during masters there is a significant change but still it's not the best. You have to crack competitive exams and qualify job interviews to get job in this field.
Its value for money if you put your continuous efforts. There is quality teaching, you have to approach the teachers and get most of their knowledge. The geology department is the best place to learn with all super seniors, seniors and juniors interacting with each other
North Campus is always buzzing with colleges in every corner. Hansraj College though not the centre but the campus life is very happening with all the events, seminars, workshops going around everyday. Fest time is the best time.
College infrastructure is great, though for geology hons the classes are held in the department so, the time spent in college is less. The classrooms have ACs now, library is very well maintained and is the best place to study in the entire college. There is a gym in the college premises and there is one boys hostel and no girls one.
I'm studying geology. And the quality of teaching is good. The faculty is great but what is more helpful is the interaction between seniors and juniors in the department as our classes are not held in the college. The curriculum is updated and the study does you job ready theory wise.
Placements options are nil for geology students. Though there are options after masters but after bachelors there is no placement. Companies do visit hansraj to recruit students from other stream and you can always volunteer to sit for other interviews.
It is value for money. The quality of teaching, the exposure you get, the interaction with alumni who are now successful it all helps you be a better perosn and delhi university gives you this opportunity.
Great. It is North campus and there are students everywhere and it gets really busy during fest season. Hansraj on the other hand is always buzzing. The location is safe and there are lots of pgs around.
College has installed smart boards, A.C. ,well working library self-service machines. Department of Geology has a museum having fossil samples from different parts of the world and mineral samples. The classes are clean , and the faculty is approachable.
Department of Geology is a Center of Advanced Studies and is located out of the college campus. The faculty here is highly experienced and is easily approachable. Teaching is good . The curriculum is updated.
The college annually holds a placement event that can help you to get good job opportunities. The chances of placement is good after post graduation ( Master's Degree )than the graduation ( Bachelor's Degree) .
The annual course fees is between 22-25 k. Course is interesting and the GE and AECC classes in the college are good enough.
The infrastructure of the department of geology is fine. Proper hygiene is maintained... Class rooms in are good condition. And it also has wifi facilities.. it doesn't not have undergraduate library but you can always ask for help from senior.. also there is no canteen so carry your own food
Currently I m doing undergraduation in geology. The classes is taken by very experienced faculty members... The practicals helps us to gain a overall perspective about the subject... The curriculum is well designed
There is no such placements for undergraduate student.. but department provides you with quality education so there is always a chance of getting job on your own after MSc... Most of the alumni are in very good position in some very reputated companies
Geology students have there core subjects class in the department and AECC and GE is held the Hansraj College... So you get to experience both college life and department life... Department of geology has always been like a family
The college has one of the best infrastructure in delhi university. It has all tge laboratory and equipment. The Wifi has been installed. Sports faculty is good enough. The college maintains good and healthy environment for their students.
This college is best for study. As it provides all the exposure. The direct entry into the corporate world is paved in this college. The faculty is outstanding and experienced. Research and development work is outstanding.
The big four is a dream for all students. This college provide placement for students in the big four college. The avg placement of this college is 6lakhs per annum. Companies show great intrest in students of hanstaj college.
The government colleges are known for their best value for money. With a low fees which is affordable the college is best.
Anti Ragging department are there. The punishment for ragging is severe so there is no scene of ragging. Which is best part. The students have to sign anti ragging form before takin admission.
Yes, my college has all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment which a student needs for his study.it provides a big hand in the development of a child and fulfil all the needs of a student.
I m studying in hansraj college because it is famous by its name of being a commerce stream college.the college provides a good quality education to all their students through very talented and educated teachers/professors
The quality of placements in hansraj is very good.there are so many programs held for the placement of students.yes my college is very supportive for a student who needs a help from it.above 50% students get placed in a very good job.
How much cost incurred in a year, doesn't matters if you learned or study a quality education.the cost of course is not so high.it is affordable.yes I m getting my money worth by getting admission in it.
College campus has all the necessary things which a student actually needs.the teachers, students, and all the college staff is very good.it is located in the north campus of Delhi University.it is a very safe college especially for girls.
I will highly recommend you to get admission in hansraj and join us.
Hansraj college is heaven for those who want to have career in any field whther arts , science , commerce or sports... The college has well maintained infrastructure and new buildings have been provided with all modern facilities of light and air conditioning... The infrastructure has been provided with tactile paths for the movement of visually impaired staff and students... The teachers are the best. The auditorium , amphitheatre , the seminar rooms have modern technology to enhance the output.
I am pursuing BA prog. The teachers are best... Curriculum is updated.. The curriculum includes all the modern developments, the history subject itself needed modern which seen done in the recent times..
The placement cell , the entrepreneurship cell and the internship fairs are common... The internship fair has been concluded today itself... The opportunities for placement are better than many other DU colleges.
Infrastructure is very nice, the place is hygienic and good to study in. The lecture room and laboratory has all equipments which are neccessary to do work in. The food in the canteen is all good and hygienic.
The syllabus is well organised and up to date so that no recent developments are left out. The study here is nice and staff is good at teaching and are extremely helpful with providing information and helping out.
The placements are very good and provide good opportunity for the students. The average salary offered is quite good and the placement process is easy and pleasant. The college is very supportive. Good placements are provided.
Greetings! Here's a detailed response to your query
Okay, so you want to know when you can apply for the MA Hindi program at Hansraj College for 2025. Here's the deal in simple terms:
Hansraj College is part of Delhi University (DU). For all its postgraduate courses, including MA Hindi, DU now uses the CUET PG (Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate programs) for admissions.
The application process for CUET PG 2025 has already closed. The application window was open earlier this year. The CUET PG exams themselves were held from March 13, 2025, to April 1, 2025.
So, unfortunately, you have missed the window to apply for the MA Hindi program at Hansraj College through the CUET PG for the 2025 academic year.
What you can do now is to prepare for the next academic year (2026). Keep an eye on the official websites of Delhi University (admission.uod.ac.in) and the National Testing Agency (NTA) (nta.ac.in or cuet.nta.nic.in) for updates regarding the CUET PG 2026 application dates, eligibility criteria, and other important information. Typically, the application process starts around February or March each year.
It's also a good idea to check the Hansraj College website ( https://www.hansrajcollege.ac.in/ ) for any specific announcements regarding their MA Hindi admissions for the upcoming sessions.
Yes, you will get admission to Hansraj College without mathematics but there are some courses in which mathematics is mandatory like - B.Sc Computer Science, B.Sc Electronics, B.Sc Mathematics, B.Sc Physics. So you can not take admission in these courses.

Hy,
Hansraj College, part of Delhi University, does not offer a BBA course . Instead, it is known for courses such as B.Com (Hons), BA, and B.Sc. If you're interested in B.Com (Hons) , mathematics is typically required as a subject in your 12th grade . For instance, to pursue B.Com (Hons) at Hansraj College, you need at least 50% marks in mathematics or business mathematics along with other core subjects like commerce or economics.
However, for general courses like B.A. (Hons) or certain other non-science courses, maths may not be compulsory. Therefore, it depends on the specific program you're applying for.
If you want to pursue a course related to business without maths, you may need to consider other colleges or courses within Delhi University that might not have such stringent math requirements.
