24 MonthsMaster of Science (M.Sc) in Medical-Surgical Nursing is a two-year full-time program at the postgraduate level in the nursing course offered by Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Eligibility Criteria
The candidates should have; Passed the qualification of B.Sc. Nursing degree from this university or any other university. Should have registered with the State Registration Council of Nursing and Midwifery. BSc. nursing graduates should have 1 year of experience after registration. Minimum 1 year of work experience before or after post-Basic BSc. nursing. In the case of male candidates, they should have passed any other course recommended INC in place of midwifery. Those who have studied midwifery are eligible for admission to Branch III and IV. An authorized medical officer's medical fitness certificate should be submitted before admission.
