The Jija Mata Government Polytechnic College is one of the prominent technical colleges situated in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh India formed in the year of1988. Located near Renuka Mata Temple, this college is one of the polytechnic colleges under CT Government and it occupies the 17.54 acre area. It is proud to be associated with technical education and has a wide and diverse diploma course. Having an AICTE approval, the college has set itself as an educational institution where students who desire polytechnic education in can gain the best in the region.

The Jija Mata Government Polytechnic College has many special amenity that helps to improve the studying process of the college students. There are sound laboratory facilities for training, adequate library facilities for reference and academic purposes, and IT facilities that accommodate changed technological trends. In accordance with the student needs, the institute offers different hostels for boys as well as girls. We too have an auditorium for functions and seminars, a cafeteria for tee and coffee and different sports facilities for recreation. The availability of First Aid facilities at a school health centre is social responsibility of the school to the students, guest house is to accommodate the visiting faculty and students’ family.

The Jija Mata Government Polytechnic College provides an overall of seven full time diploma courses such as Fashion Technology and Travel and Tourism etc, all of which take three years to complete. It enrolls a total of 442 students in its different courses as an indication of its impact in the advancement of technical learning in the region. This makes the college’s academic programme diverse in the sense that it cuts across the differential engineering and management spectrums. They are aimed at imparting theoretical and practical knowledge for candidates preparing to work in the competent environment of professional situations.
