Khejuri College, Purba Medinipur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College has a Girls‘ Hostel, having a capacity for 100 borders, which is present within the college premises.

The college is equipped with a First Aid facility. Medical facilities for the students are provided on the campus.

The College has a college gymnasium that ensures the fitness of the students and faculty and encourages physical fitness and discipline.

The College encourages the spirit of inquiry and progress in students through its teachers and through the resources available in its library. At present about 6428 books and journals are present in the library. Besides, the Department of Bengali has a Departmental Library comprising of about 400 books. In the second stage of the digitalization process of the college, the library is about to be digitalized. This would facilitate the students as it would provide easier access to books and academic documents.

The college has sports facilities for all students. The college has an extensive playground and the students participate in team games like volleyball, football, and cricket and sporting disciplines like athletics.

The College has separate Canteen for Staff and Students. To ensure safe drinking water for students, a water filter has been setup. Moreover, an RO Filter provides drinking water supply to the AdministrativeBuilding for the staff.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The College has Laboratories for the Science Programmes taught in the College. The Departments of Aquaculture Management, Anthropology, Botany, Geography and Zoology have Laboratories attached to them. Students carry out various practical-based activities in these laboratories.  

The College is provided with High Speed Internet Connectivity in order to facilitate Administrative and Academic work. While College Office, IQAC and Departmental Rooms are provided with wi-fi support, the ICT enabled rooms have broadband connectivity. The access of Internet in the Computer Lab has aided ICT Enabled Teaching. Further, access to web has also made Webinars, Web Lectures and other Web-aided Teaching possible.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
