      Average college for MHA

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

Infrastructure, facilities and equipments here are average. There is only one library and it has very few books for reference. There is no sports centre. The college doesn’t have a hostel of it’s own. The spaces are clean and hygienic.

      Academics

Some teachers teach really well, others don’t. Curriculum is according to the guidelines laid down by KUHS. We are made ready for jobs by the end of the course. Teachers here need to improve a lot. Their way of teaching needs to be updated.

      Placements

No campus placement drives happen here. In fact for internships also we ourselves have to set out to find a hospital to do our projects. Seniors and faculty are helpful though throughout the process. But at the end we are only there for us.

      Value for Money

Course costs ₹2,10,000 in total. I believe I am getting only half the money’s worth. There is much scope for improvement here. Infrastructure can improve and more teachers who specialise in particular subjects should be placed here for teaching.

      Campus Life

Not so interesting campus life is found here. There are very few events all throughout the year. This place is much like a school. Co curricular activities are not given much importance here and students are not encouraged to go for them.

      Old college for MHA

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is average. Classrooms have projectors. Laboratories are present but in the old building where usually no classes happen. There are no sports centers or hostel facilities owned by the college.

      Academics

Teachers teach with dedication. The provide notes and other study materials. KUHS is the university to which limsar is affiliated. So it follows their guidelines. By the end of the course we are made job ready.

      Placements

No placements happen here. But faculties are approached to refer eligible students for jobs by HR departments of nearby hospitals. Staff is highly supportive. Being an administration course ideally it should provide placements but limsar doesn’t.

      Value for Money

Total fee for 2 years is 2,12,000₹. It is updated on the college’s official website. We are partly getting our money’s worth. But definitely there is scope for improvement. More facilities can be provided by the college.

      Campus Life

College is purely academic focused with very little attention paid to other co curricular activities. So very few events happen and not all students can participate in all the events. Location of the hospital is prime and is very safe.

      Highly reputed college for optometry

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is average. Classrooms are in the eye block of the hospital itself and not a separate building. Projectors are there in classrooms. There is no playground or sports center. There is no wifi.

      Academics

High quality of teaching is provided. Teachers are very dedicated, most of them being alumni of LIMSAR itself. Curriculum is followed according to KUHS. Being an old and a reputed college we are made job ready by the end of the course.

      Placements

Placements are provided. Lenskart, Titan and eye hospitals usually come to hire us as optometrists. LF itself has enough vacancies for us. Salary packages are as per the industry standards. College is supportive all throughout the process.

      Value for Money

Yes the money invested here is worth it. Our course costs about 1L per year. It is returned in the form of high quality of education. Plus the name and fame of the hospital and institution adds to our growth in the industry.

      Campus Life

Campus life is not so amazing. Purely academic focused teachers are there here. Location is prime and is safe. To handle emergencies there’s no issue as we are part of the hospital itself. Students are friendly and so is the staff here.

      Average college for MHA

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

Classrooms have average facilities. Laboratories are located in the old building, so they take us rarely there. There is no sports center. The college does not have a hostel of it’s own. There is no separate college building, classrooms are located within a building that belongs to the hospital.

      Academics

Notes are provided by almost all teachers. They teach us like school students even though we’re doing pg. High quality education is provided. The college is affiliated to KUHS and it follows the guidelines laid down by KUHS.

      Placements

There are no campus placements even though it’s an administration course. For internships also there is no placement team or cell helping students out. After completing the course we have to look for jobs all by ourselves.

      Value for Money

The annual college fee is 1,06,000₹. Half of what I invested here is paid back. But the facilities here can improve. Library can have more books and can be made more available to students. A playground is a must and should be made or provided soon.

      Campus Life

Campus life is boring. Teaching and studies is given prime importance here. No co curricular activities are promoted as such. Teachers also compel students to sit back in the class and study rather than going for events.

      Old college for MHA

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

College has only basic infrastructure and facilities. Classrooms are located on the 7th floor of eye block of the hospital. Living spaces are clean and hospital services are much separate from this floor.

      Academics

Teachers teach very well. Exceptions are few. They provide necessary notes and other study materials despite being a post graduation course. Curriculum is according to KUHS and includes changes made by KUHS.

      Placements

There are no campus placements. This is a major drawback. But since there are enough job opportunities available after MHA students by the end of the course do land at jobs by themselves pr with the help of their peers.

      Value for Money

Quality of teaching is what is paid back. Other facilities offered have scope for improvement. Library can be more functional and can have some more number of books. Course costs 1,06,000₹ per year now.

      Campus Life

Not so amazing college life as much of the focus or almost all of the focus is on academics. There are very few events all throughout the year. Cultural programmes are not much promoted instead students are asked not to go for practices and study in classes.

      Very good college for optometrists

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is average. Classrooms are a part of one of the hospital building. An old building does exist but only labs of the building are utilised when necessary. Facilities are less. Library is small. Living spaces are clean.

      Academics

Teachers are mostly pass outs of the same college. The hospital is much known for it’s eye speciality hence we get very good exposure to patients which helps us in studying better. Curriculum is updated and we are proud that most of the university toppers are from our college.

      Placements

Yes we do get placements here. Lenskart, Titan come to hire us. Also we are placed at various eye hospitals or eye specialities of different colleges. All owing to the name and reputation of the institution we belong to

      Value for Money

Annual fee is 1L. Course lasts 4 years. The quality of teaching provided, the exposure we obtain here really makes us feel the money invested here is worth it. No other optometry college matches with ours.

      Campus Life

Campus life is not so amazing. Teachers are strict and so is academic curriculum. Not much importance is given to co curricular activities. So if you’re looking to have fun it’s not so much here in this college.

      Good exposure to optos

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

College) only provides basic facilities. It does not have a separate college building. Classrooms are accommodated within a building of the hospital itself. There are no Wi-Fi facilities. The living spaces are clean and hygienic.

      Academics

Teachers here teach very well. Full syllabus is according to the guidelines laid down by KUHS. College) follows Updates lay down by the University being known for ophthalmology section of the hospital students here get a very good exposure with a variety of patients approaching the hospital OPD every day where the students get posted.

      Placements

There is no on campus placement drive. But enough vacancies are there in the hospital itself as the eye block is really huge. Salary offered is very basic. But College) is very supportive. Also the exposure students get here. Make them Job) ready after they complete the course.

      Value for Money

Indeed, the college is value for money. We do feel that we are getting our money is worth. But the infrastructure of the college can improve. It costs less than a lakh per year which is average is compared to other colleges offering the same course.

      Campus Life

Campus life is average. There are very few events happening all throughout the year. More focus is laid on the academic part. And being engaged with postings they do not get much time to participate in the other event is happening in the college.

      Not good for management studies

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

We don’t have accepted College building. Classrooms are located on the seventh floor of the eye block of the hospital. There are no facilities of Wi-Fi or computer room. Library is not equipped with (Photocopy) facilities, but the living spaces are particularly clean.

      Academics

Teaching is very strict and in adherence with the guidelines laid down by the university. Most of the teachers provide notes or presentations as material to learn from. Academically, College) is very good.

      Placements

(NO campus placements are provided. Students have to look for jobs after the course all by themselves. However, seniors share the experience that faculties referred them to available job vacancies. We are not placed by College) but by our own efforts after college.

      Value for Money

Yes, this college is indeed value for money but some facilities can be improved. Our course costs 1,06,000 Yr. This fee is particularly cheap as compare to other management colleges. We get appropriate exposure, but things can be improved.

      Campus Life

There is not much campus life offered here. Much of the focuses on academics, very few events and celebrations happen here of which mostly we being PG students are not a part of. So this college is not much enjoyable as other colleges.

      Purely academic focused college

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

Here the infrastructure and facilities provided are very average. The college has only one library with very less number of books. There are projectors in almost all classes. Classrooms are basic but hygienic.

      Academics

Teachers here are very dedicated. Many of them provide notes or presentations as material to study from. Curriculum is a rollercoaster filled with timely assignment tests, internal exams and presentations.

      Placements

There are no placements provided by the college. However, faculties refer as per job opportunities available. Seniors also offer a helping hand in providing placements to their juniors but not through College. So if you’re looking for a college that provides campus placements, this should not be your choice.

      Value for Money

The money invested here is indeed providing good results. But there are things that can be improved. For example, the infrastructure – the college has not have a separate building. It is a part of the eye block of the hospital. Students do require a separate campus here which should be provided.

      Campus Life

If you are thinking, the college provides an amazing campus life, it is not so. Being a medical college, it focuses more on academics. There are very few events all throughout the year and children don’t get ample time to prepare for events as leaving classes for practices or preparations for events are not supported by the faculties.

      Not recommended for MHA

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is average. The classroom is located on the 7th floor of I block. A library is also a part of the floor. Separate college building does not exist. There is no playground as we are part of the hospital building itself.

      Academics

Some teachers are dedicated. They complete the syllabus on time and provide notes as well. The other half of teachers don't come on time and take lectures. So in those subjects we have to prepare for the exams by ourselves.

      Placements

This college does not provide any campus placements. There are internships in both the years. Even for those internships we have to look for hospitals all by ourselves. Being an old college providing MHA as a course are faculties are asked by HR of various hospitals for the profile of deserving candidates from their college.

      Value for Money

I cannot completely say the colleges actually value for money partly it is. Being a private college it should placement which it does not provide here. At least if the infrastructure would have been better I would have said it is value for money.

      Campus Life

If you think the college has very good campus life I am sorry you been mistaken. There are very few events all throughout the year. Being a medical college almost their entire focuses on academy with very little importance given to co curricular activities.

      Others

If you want to do MHA under k u h s there are other options available as well which you can consider before making a final choice on this college.
