Well, According to me, if you are a native south indian and you are aspiring to be in south india only to pursue your education then I think that foos cannot be that big barrier.

It is quite difficult for you to get electrical engg in MIT. The last year cut off rank was 601.

MIT is really better than Sastra. So don't regreat on your decision. If you are not specific about about branch then your decision is right.

Sorry to say but with this rank,  you have no chances to get a deat in any of your preferred colleges mentioned above . But you do not need to worry as still there are many other colleges like saharsa college of engineering,  darbhanga college of engineering etc .
