Hello,

It is doubtful that someone with MET score of 61 will accepted into one of the MIT Mahipal's extremely competitive departments,  such as Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology. Nonetheless, there may be a chance for automotive or civil engineering.

The last year's (2024) closing ranks for BE Aeronautical Engineering at MIT Chennai, under the General category, were 1812. For BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering, the closing rank was 700.

The CEETA PG cutoff for Aeronautical Engineering (PH, PI, ST, TF) for SC/SCA/ST candidates was 20.7, 29.4, 16.6, and 16.9 respectively. For the same categories and papers, the cutoff for "Others" (OC) was 31.1, 44.2, 25, and 25.4.

Hello,.To clarify, are you looking for information about engineering programs at MIT-WPU, or do you need help with something else related to MIT-WPU engineering?

For example, are you interested in admissions, scholarships, specific programs, or something else?

Please provide more details about what kind of help you need and we will definitely help you with it

Thank you!!

good afternoon ,the top Engineering Colleges in Pune ( after COEP, MIT-WPU, VIT) are :

PICT (Pune Institute of Computer Technology)    Known for CSE & IT, excellent coding culture, strong alumni network

AIT (Army Institute of Technology)    Great placements, especially in CS/IT; only for wards of army personnel

CCOEW (Cummins College of Engineering for Women)    Women-only college, strong in CS & ECE, good ROI

PCCOE (Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering)    Decent placements, good industry exposure

DY Patil College of Engineering    Popular private college, good infra, moderate placements

AISSMS College of Engineering    NAAC A+ accredited, decent placement, central location

IIIT Pune    Government-backed, strong in CS & ECE, high ROI

IIIT (International Institute of Information Technology)    Focused on IT & CS, good ROI

If you're targeting Computer Science or IT, PICT, IIIT Pune, and Cummins are excellent.

For ROI, GCOEARA (Govt. College of Engineering & Research, Avasari) is unbeatable with low fees and decent placements.

If you're looking for campus life + academics, MIT-WPU and VIT still lead, but AIT and PCCOE offer good balance

Hi dear candidate,

With the percentile between 70 and 80, your JEE rank should fall between 2,50,000 to 3,00,000 which might be challenging for getting a college with CSE branch as it is very competitive and requires much lower rank.

However, there are potential good private colleges like PCCOE, BVIMR, DY Patil Institute etc. for you to consider.

Talking about MIT WPU then the minimum percentage for 12th board BTech is 50% but the percentile for CSE branch at MIT WPU is at least 90% so you should try other branches like ECE, EEE, Mechanical etc.

BEST OF LUCK

In the past, the closing cutoff for CSE and ECE in CEG and MIT for the BC category has been around 198 and above While securing a seat in top branches at CEG and MIT with your current rank might be challenging, you have good potential to get into other branches or colleges within the Anna University system or other reputable institutions in Tamil Nadu.

you can explore other branches and potentially get a seat in later rounds or through management quota.

Hello

Yes, some colleges may conduct entrance exams for MSc in Medical Imaging Technology (MIT), while others offer admission based on merit. The total fee of 56,050 mentioned on the website usually refers to the full 2-year course. It's best to confirm with the college whether this includes exam fees or other charges. Admission rules can vary from one university to another. Always check the official brochure or contact the admission office for accurate details.

Hello

To get ECE at MIT (Anna University) as an MBC candidate, you need a TNEA cutoff of at least 193–196 out of 200.

How to reach that cutoff :

Maths : 195–200

Physics : 95–100

Chemistry : 95–100

ECE is a top branch and highly competitive.

Even for MBC category , only students with very high board marks get in.

Stay consistent and aim for 98–100% in these subjects.

hope this helps you .
