*However ,the cut off is really high for any branch.You need to get atleast 195 /200 to get desired branch in general category through TNEA.

you are eligible to get admission in any college through jee mains result, only if you clear the cutoff declared by the nta. as per the last year cutoff result your jee score of  26 is not enough for clearing jee. you can try with other exam score

Admission in MIT Chennai is not based on JEE mains score. MIT accepts admission through the single window counselling called TNEA which is conducted by the Anna university, Chennai.Admission in totally merit based and the percentage of class 12th is considered for admission.
