No. Ragging does not take place in MIT Muzaffarpur College. The college ins a ragging free campus. The students are made to sign a anti ragging form. So don't worry and take admission if you have been allotted before.

Both the colleges you have mentioned are amongst the best colleges in Tamil Nadu. As you have mentioned that you belong to general category, you should have a minimum of 95% and above to make it into these colleges. You should also clear state level competitive examination with minimum marks as these are government institutes.
