The college has a well-equipped library with a spacious Reading Room attached to it. It has a collection of about 45,000 books and subscribes to 15 types of periodicals. Computerized databases are being developed. The college has arranged Institutional membership with the British Council Library and American Library. The library is fully WIFI enabled and students and teachers can utilize the WIFI facility with a suitable password.
The College has lately opened a highly well-equipped Multi-Gym funded by the Department of Youth & Sports, Government of India. It offers the facility to both the students and staff of the college.
The college has a Students are encouraged to take part in outdoor games. Inter-Class tournaments in Football/Cricket and even indoor games are participating in Inter-College Sports Meets and Competitions.
The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.
The college houses two separate canteen on the 2nd floor of the college for the students, faculty members, and staff serves healthy food and meals at subsidized rates. It has been upgraded to maintain better hygienic standards and is well equipped to cope up with the mid-beak rush, efficiently with additional space assigned recently.
The college has created a free Wi-Fi zone at our college campus and library for the benefit of the students. Students can avail themselves of this facility for academic purposes.
The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
The college has a cheap store of the college that is set up to supply books, exercise copies, and other academic inputs to students at reasonable rates; a Photocopy facility is also available in the cheap store.
The college Alumni Association ‘PRAKTANI’ functions independently. It actively participates in academic, administrative, literary & cultural programmes associated with the college.
The college are entitled to receive benefits of medical treatment offered by the Students’ Health Home.
Maharaja Manindra Chandra College has a moderately developed infrastructure with well-maintained classrooms, basic laboratory facilities, and a functional library. However, the campus is compact and lacks modern amenities and adequate space. Technological resources and student facilities need improvement to better support academic and extracurricular activities.
I'm an old batch Student, in my time the college was good for everything the campus the, canteen, the teachers, every memory is rememberable. I'm glad I took admission here made true friends.teachers were helpful and kind.
I graduated my highschool this year, I'm a commerce student. I'm an absolute fresher, a new admission. so haven't explored the college enough by now. But overall good college, has a library, classrooms are preety good, a bit messy but overall good,
