- On July 3, CEE Kerala shutdown, making it impossible to input engineering mark data through the platform.
- Kerala State Electronics development Corporation Ltd (Keltron), a well-known technological corporation, and Mar Athanasius College of Engineering (MACE) in Kothamangalam have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to improve the caliber of research and teaching.
MACE Kothamangalam was established in 1961 by Mar Athanasius College Association, aided by the Government of Kerala. The campus of the college spreads over an area of 66 acres of land. Mar Athanasius College of Engineering is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The college was first affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University and is now affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.
B.Tech, B.Tech Lateral Entry, M.Tech, MCA and Ph.D are the courses offered by MACE Kothamangalam and are approved by AICTE. Once the eligibility criteria is met, candidates have to appear for the entrance tests. Candidates have to appear for KEAM for B.Tech programme, GATE for M.Tech programme, etc. MACE Kothamangalam eligiblity criteria for some of the programmes are given in detail below. Our college does not make students industry ready so they have to prepare themselves to get placements.Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Air-conditioners are available in our classrooms. We can borrow books free of cost from the library. The food served in the hostel is good at an affordable price.

Our college infrastructure is really fascinating and really good. Our college has very unique infrastructure in both technical and academic facilities. College provides one of best labs and research facilities out of all engineering colleges in Kerala. Wifi is available in all the spaces . The bathrooms are very hygiene and clean also.

MACE provides excellent placements in almost all the courses,ECE being one of them. They don't provide internships, the students themselves have to find them. But when it comes to placements,the highest salary package offered here is 10 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA.

Hello aspirant. NRI quota seats or managements seats are handled by the management. Usually the fees would be a bit high compared to that of admissions through the normal process. Select the private colleges and choose the one you wish to get admitted in. Only some of the private colleges have management quota seats. So figure out if that college has managment quota seat and talk to them. If yes, then as soon as possible submit certain documents where the student's blood relative should be residing in abroad. That is for NRI proof. Certain other documents like aadhar card, pan card, I'd proofs of relative etc. Then you need to pay certain amount, you would get the seat.

Around 35 companies go to MACE every year to hire recruits. Most of these are IT companies. But the percentage of students placed is definetly not a good turnover. Around 65 percent of the students are placed. The average salary isnt decent too. It is around 3.5 lakhs per annum.
