MACE Kothamangalam Facilities

MACE Kothamangalam facilities are provided for the overall growth and development of the students. MACE Kothamangalam facilities include a boys' hostel, a girls' hostel, a library, sports, a gym, a cafeteria, an auditorium, a medical/hospital, IT infrastructure, laboratories, and many more. The college has a central library, which provides numerous resources to support the teaching and learning activities of the faculty members and the students.

The entire campus is enabled with wi-fi. Students and faculty members can access the facility at any time from anywhere inside the campus. Other Mar Athanasius College of Engineering facilities, like the medical clinic, gym, and many more, are available on the campus.

Boys Hostel
The college provides all the basic facilities in the hostels for the comfortable accommodation of the outstation students. Free wi-fi and 24X7 security systems are also provided in the hostels.
Girls Hostel
MACE Kothamangalam girls hostel facilities include well-furnished rooms, modern appliances, uninterrupted supply of water and electricity, free wi-fi, etc. The safety and security of the hostels is taken care of by the hostel wardens.
Medical/Hospital
The on-campus medical clinic provides basic first-aid treatment to the students, college staff and faculty members for free. Trained medical officers administer the treatment.
Gym
The college has a multi-stationed gym. The gym also has a trainer for proper training and guidance.
Library
The library is fully computerised and is well-furnished. A huge collection of textbooks, reference books, national and international journals, periodicals, etc is available in the library. The library also provides the photocopy facilities for the students.
Sports
Mar Athanasius College of Engineering sports facilities include a cricket ground, volleyball, basketball, badminton, tennis courts, etc. The physical education department of the college has also signed an MoU with Ernakulam District Cricket Association(EDCA) for technical and financial support.
I.T Infrastructure
The IT infrastructure of the college is well-maintained. It controls and manages the networking of the entire campus.
Cafeteria
The college cafeteria serves hygienically-prepared fresh meals to the students and staff members at reasonable prices.
Auditorium
The auditorium is used for multipurpose activities like conducting events and seminars. MACE Kothamangalam auditorium facilities include audio-video systems, LCD projectors, etc.
Alumni Associations
The college organizes Alumni activities from time to time.
Laboratories
Mar Athanasius College of Engineering laboratory facilities include modern instruments and apparatus. The lab assistants in the laboratories guide the students.

College Infrastructure

Labs are good but due to government funding instruments being old some might not work. But renovation is going on. Wi-Fi is always available. The library is good with a pleasant atmosphere. The hostel is very good but strict, the hostel is closed from 9 pm to 5 am. The food is good to rent and food costs about 6000 or less depending on the hostel. Some hostels are very old but well maintained.

College Infrastructure

Free Wi-Fi at a rate of 15Gb per week. Separate buildings for each lab with almost the best machines. The quality of food is good. Both vegetarian and nonvegetarian foods are available. The mess is always kept neat. The college also supports sports and games. The college hostel has a hostel gym accessible for all hostlers.

College Infrastructure

Nice and old infrastructure and it gives a pleasant vibe with lot trees and stuff. The college has Wi-Fi in every block and hostel. It has large playgrounds and swimming pools which are paid. Badminton courts are also available. Facilities are the best but the management is not good.

Is ece placement at MACE good ?

Hi,

MACE provides excellent placements in almost all the courses,ECE being one of them. They don't provide internships, the students themselves have to find them. But when it comes to placements,the highest salary package offered here is 10 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA.

What's the procedure to get a management or NRI quota seat

Hello aspirant. NRI quota seats or managements seats are handled by the management. Usually the fees would be a bit high compared to that of admissions through the normal process. Select the private colleges and choose the one you wish to get admitted in. Only some of the private colleges have management quota seats. So figure out if that college has managment quota seat and talk to them. If yes, then as soon as possible submit certain documents where the student's blood relative should be residing in abroad. That is for NRI proof. Certain other documents like aadhar card, pan card, I'd proofs of relative etc. Then you need to pay certain amount, you would get the seat.

How is the placements in MACE ?

Around 35 companies go to MACE every year to hire recruits. Most of these are IT companies. But the percentage of students placed is definetly not a good turnover. Around 65 percent of the students are placed. The average salary isnt decent too. It is around 3.5 lakhs per annum.
