Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering is a four-year full-time Undergraduate program offered by Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, Kothamangalam and affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram and approved by AICTE.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates for admission to the B.Tech. Degree course shall be required to have passed the higher secondary/+2/XII Std. examination conducted by boards/departments recognized/accepted by the University, obtaining not less than 50% marks in Mathematics and not less than 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together or the diploma examination in Engineering, Kerala or an examination accepted by the Government of Kerala as equivalent thereto with 50% marks in the final qualifying examination, subject to the usual concession allowed for backward and other communities as specified from time to time.

Admission Details

The admission to 85% of seats will be based on the Rank obtained in the All Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by Government of Kerala. Remaining 15% of seats are filled by the management, which is also based on the rank obtained in the Entrance Examination.

College Infrastructure

Nice and old infrastructure and it gives a pleasant vibe with lot trees and stuff. The college has Wi-Fi in every block and hostel. It has large playgrounds and swimming pools which are paid. Badminton courts are also available. Facilities are the best but the management is not good.

It is a good college and a good place to study.

College Infrastructure

Hostel facilities are good for both girls and boys. Wi-Fi is available in hostels, classrooms, and library. The food quality is average. Medical facilities are available. The canteen facility is also average.

Great labs for hands on projects.

College Infrastructure

The hostel facility is just satisfactory. The food provided is somewhat good. There are both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. There are no attached toilets in any of the rooms. It is a little difficult to get admission to the college hostel
