NMIMS University offers the full time MBA (Master of Business Administration) Program, approved by AICTE, Govt. of India, one of the most recognised programs. MBA is a two-year full-time program, spread over six trimesters. The most notable feature is its visionary objectives to provide the students with an all-round broad perspective in all streams of management education.

The program is to train the students to become decision makers along with exercising social sensitivity, keeping in mind a broad strategic vision and an ability to assume a higher corporate responsibility. All this is enhanced through a superior degree of skill in interpersonal relationships. A great deal of emphasis is also placed on experiential learning. The students are required to work on a number of corporate and academic research projects during their two years on campus, which also includes eight weeks of Summer Internship.

The MBA program has been designed with the following objectives:

Critical Analytical Thinking - An ability to construct and recognise solid logical arguments, their underlying assumptions and limitations.

Personal Leadership - A deep self-awareness of their own strengths, weaknesses, and even identity, coupled with an understanding of diverse influence styles and the best way to use them.

Industry Ready and Result Oriented - A vision to transform the students into responsible managers.

Community - A platform to work and learn most effectively through teamwork with the help of a supportive community.

The most notable features of the program are its broad general management base and the flexibility offered to students in selection of electives from five functional areas of management. A student can deepen knowledge and skills in any two areas of functional specialisation along with a strong general management foundation. Many integrative courses are also included in the curriculum. Besides the regular curriculum students have opportunities to opt from about six value added courses and foreign language courses. Students choose from among the above options suiting one's individual preferences.

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate (of all years).
Candidates who are appearing for the final examination of their Bachelor's degree are eligible to apply. Provisional admission is subject to clearing the final examination of their Bachelor's degree with stipulated aggregate marks and selected candidates must produce all the necessary documents, in original, within the given stipulated time.
Candidates having two and more years of post-qualification work experience will be preferred.
The candidate must have appeared for all his subject(s) / exams before the commencement of the respective program (s) of NMIMS (Deemed to be University). The examination of none of the subjects should be held after the commencement of the respective course. Also, the candidate should be declared pass in all the above-referred subjects (s) / examinations by the University from where he/she is graduating from, with minimum stipulated marks in the aggregate (of all years). (However, in case the candidates' graduating University schedules the final year/ semester/trimester examination/s (as applicable) during/after the commencement of the respective program the candidates' candidature may be considered subject to NMIMS (Deemed to be University) discretion).

Admission Details

Stage 1

NMAT by GMAC test is a mandatory test for applying to the following NMIMS University programs

The score of the NMAT by GMAC Test for all the NMIMS applicants will be submitted by GMAC electronically to NMIMS (Deemed to-be-University).

Stage 2

Case Discussion (CD) and Personal Interview (PI) only for shortlisted candidates

Stage 3

Candidates' academic performance, relevant work experience, and other similar inputs.

• It is mandatory for candidates to fill in the NMIMS application form on www.nmims.edu to confirm his candidature and be in the NMIMS admission programs for the Batch.

• The preferences once given cannot be changed later on. Candidates are advised to check the information entered in the online registration application form very carefully while registering and again before submitting the application as they will not be allowed to make any changes after submitting the application.

• The candidates are advised to note their NMAT by GMAC / NMIMS Application number. The further communication/process will be as per NMAT by GMAC / NMIMS Application number only.

College Infrastructure

In NMIMS every campus has the same infrastructure, so it ensures that students in any of the campuses don't face any problem regarding the availability of essentials things which are required for the smooth functioning of this two year course. An entire floor is reserved for a library, and there are labs and discussion rooms on every floor. The entire campus is enabled with Wi-Fi facility.

I am lucky to be a part of NMIMS.

College Infrastructure

The quality of the food served, infrastructure, classrooms, is way above usual standards. I did not face any issues regarding the infrastructure of the college. There is an indoor game room comprising of the pool, TT tables, foosball, carrom, etc. The only issue is it has a compact building. Moreover, there isn't much of a college linked hostel facility, which was an issue initially. But gradually one gets accustomed to it.

It is one of the best colleges for MBA, but the fee is high

College Infrastructure

It is one of the best colleges I have seen. Though the campus is small, the facilities provided are amazing. Classrooms are designed as Harvard with digital equipment. Facility for the library is also good with Bloomberg labs which is one of the essential labs for any MBA student. The hygiene maintained in the canteen is fantastic, but you only get vegetarian food there.
