Course Overview

The Educational Video Production online course will teach you about the different aspects of video production elements. You will learn how to plan and manage a script, what are the different techniques in lighting, camera & recording, and other post-production requirements. There will be dedicated lectures on graphics and animation and tools for an e-content generation. There will also be a special section on the nuances of video editing.

Further, the Educational Video Production certification course has been designed by the faculty of the National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh. Professor Maitreyee Dutta and professor Shyam Sundar Pattnaik will be your educators for the course. The programme is online and all the course materials are accessible on Swayam's portal.

Educational Video Production has a course duration of eight weeks with an optional certification exam. All the course materials are free to access. Besides, there will be weekly assignments to help you evaluate your progress.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Video Production programme certification qualification requires you to meet specific conditions.

Certificate Qualifying Details

In order to get the certification qualifying details, one must submit all assignments. 30% of your average assignment score will be constituted in your final score. You also need to appear for the proctored exam at the end of the course. 70% of your exam score will be added to your final score.

Thus, your final score = 70% exam score + 30% assignment score.

The passing final score is 40/100. However, you also need to get at least 10/30 in assignments and 30/70 in the exam to pass. You must meet all three criteria for the certification.

Step 3: Go through the course material and other details. If the course is open for enrollment, click on the ‘Join’ button.

Application Details

You can apply for the Educational Video Production programme by filling the sign-up form on the Swayam website. To sign up, you need to enter a valid email address. You also need to choose a unique username and password.

Swayam will verify the email address before the account is created. You can also skip the sign-up process by using your Google ID, Facebook, or Microsoft account. If you have an existing Swayam account, you can skip all the above-mentioned options and log in straight away.

Educational Video Production training offers an optional in-person proctored exam at the end of the course if you want to apply for certification. You will need to fill an online registration form and pay the required exam fee beforehand.

There are multiple exam centres and two exam sessions available for your convenience. Swayam will provide all the details related to the exam and the centres such as the date of the exam, the exam centre addresses, etc. once you fill the registration form.
