B.Com Accounting and Finance Evening Shift - Batch of 2024-01-01
Academics
Academically it is one of the best colleges in Chennai. The fees are also very low compared to other colleges in Chennai. Only in B.Com Accounting and Finance department the students are provided with internships in audit firms and banks. Overall a high level of education will be provided to students with imparting discipline. Tally ERP9 will be taught to students as part of the curriculum only in accounting and finance department.
College Infra
The campus has various facilities but the campus is not that big. Good sports activities are conducted here and the importance of sports is good as there is a big ground at the backside of the college. As the campus is small all the area in the campus are always under surveillance. classrooms and computer and science labs are very good.
Campus Life
Only extracurricular activities that are related to academics are conducted here. No cultural events are conducted in the college. The students can roam freely around the campus with no restrictions. The college will bring very successful peoples to motivate the students in orientation programs. NCC and NSS programs are conducted more.
Placements
Placement opportunities are very good. Top companies like Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, Sutherland, KPMG, etc. visit the college for recruiting students. Many banks, audit firms and companies have recruited students from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College. Many of my classmates have been placed in good companies with attractive packages. Even being in second year of our course. The placement cell will help the students to crack their interviews.
Value For Money
When i did my B.com accounting and finance the fees was 42000 per annum. The fees may vary now. Joining in this college worth all my money and energy it is best college for gaining knowledge and discipline.

All the faculties are nice and friendly, the learning experience is good and all sessions are fun and interactive .
All the seniors are friendly and helpful in guiding the juniors.
Many industry leaders and influential people are invited to provide Students with great insights and tips
College Infra
The college is equipped with good infrastructure facilities for students.
Nice classrooms equipped with good seating facilities.
Seminar halls and exam halls built for events is spacious and can accommodate easily more than 200 students
Placements
Excellent placement opportunities are provided to students, all big four companies come for placement and fair number of students are being placed in good companies with lucrative salary packages.
Placements from the companies are offered to all b.com departments and selected after 3 rounds of test(aptitude,gd and interview)

B.Sc Advanced Zoology and Biotechnology - Batch of 2023-01-01
Academics
Academically this college is very strict, the college has proper curriculum which they follow. For me in Zoology department the faculties were nice but too strict. We had to submit all our assignments on time.
College Infra
The college has a nice infrastructure it has a nice laboratory for zoology department. It has a Proper Library and has big ground for sports, the infrastructure is a bit old style because it has been built a long ago.
Placements
I didn't apply for my placement because I'm doing my master's directly after my bachelor's so I really don't know about it. But I have heard a lot of big companies like IBM and many different bank came for placement.
