My total college was Wi-Fi enabled. classrooms were well-designed. Laboratories were available in our college. Libraries were filled with books. Computers and stadiums were clean. Sports kits and trainers were the top qualities. A playground was available to play indoor and outdoor games. The food was good.
The teachers in our department are highly qualified, knowledgeable, friendly, and help us so much. All the courses provided by our institution are curriculum-relevant, which makes the student knowledgeable, builds their career, and prepares them for placement. The semester exam is not too tough; it is average, and the student needs to get a minimum of 50% of the mark to pass.
My Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology offers a strong academic program and maintains good industry connections, resulting in a high placement rate and internship opportunities for its students in every year. It achieved 98% of its placement rate this year and last year too. The fact that high-recruiting companies such as Zoho, Infosys, Cognizant, and Tata visit our college for recruitment is a positive sign.
The college offers all essential facilities, especially for hostel residents. The hostels are well-maintained with clean rooms, laundry services, and round-the-clock power backup. Other amenities including canteens, a medical room, sports grounds, and recreational facilities are found on the campus and complement a well-rounded student life.
Faculty of the MCA department are qualified, experienced, and cooperative. They prompt students to question and support them not only academically but also in professional advice. The pedagogy is primarily theoretical, but some teachers also emphasize practical implementation and practice coding. Semester exams are fairly challenging, and students need to obtain a minimum of 30% marks in every subject to pass.
The placement of MCA students ranges from 60% to 80% depending on the batch and overall student performance. The minimum offered package is somewhere around ₹3–4 LPA, standard for entry-level jobs, with the average reaching as high as ₹5–6 LPA. For star students, the top package reached a high of ₹12 LPA. These companies include Hexaware, Mphasis, Nagarro, and a few regional IT startups that visit regularly for hiring.
The classrooms are air-conditioned and have projectors. Computer labs are updated periodically with appropriate software and high-speed internet. The library is adequate, with a good technical book collection and e-resource access. Wi-Fi is provided throughout the campus, but at times, the speed is not consistent in certain areas.
The syllabus is in-line with industry practices, with focus on programming, data structures, and newer technologies. Though there is room for more hands-on training or industry-linked projects, the semester exams are manageable, and pass rates are good.
In the current batch, more than 90% of the students got placement offers. The highest package offered was approximately 15 LPA, and the average package was around 4.5–5 LPA. Though the majority are in software development, testing, and data support, a couple of students also receive chances in web development and system analysis. Tech Mahindra, NIIT Technologies, HCL, and Birlasoft are some of the frequent recruiters. The college also offers internship assistance, with stipends varying between ₹8,000 and ₹20,000 per month, based on the firm and profile
Like top institutions, TKM has state-of-the-art infrastructure. Machine lab, power systems lab, circuits lab, electronics lab, microprocessor lab, power electronics lab, and software lab are available. Wi-Fi and a library are also available. There are 4 hostels for men in TKM. They are Trust hostel, Annex Hostel, Golden Jubilee Hostel, and IN hostel. All these hostels are neat and clean
Teachers are well-qualified and helpful. They are Ph.D. holders. The course curriculum is based on KTU regulations. The curriculum is outdated, but we can catch up with the trend with personal effort. End-semester exams are moderately tough. The pass percentage is around 80%.
Almost 80% of students got placed in IT companies like Infosys, TCS, and Tata Elxsi, and in core companies like MRF, Tismo, Kalkitech, Elxsi, Sobha Construction, L&T, etc. The highest salary package offered is 13 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is around 2.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is around 5 LPA.
The IIMT Engineering College campus is quite large in area and well-maintained. Wi-Fi connectivity is available in most of the academic blocks, with varying speed and consistency. The campus features several programming and networking labs, a central library with adequate reading material, and common study spaces. The hostels have standard facilities such as 24x7 power supply, good food, clean rooms, and common spaces.
Faculty members at the MCA department are well qualified with a number of them possessing an M.Tech or Ph.D. in computer science and allied branches. The approach to teaching is organized and professional, with routine lectures, assignments, and doubt-clearing classes. The curriculum is strictly adhered to, and further stress is laid on facilitating students to meet industry requirements through seminars and project work.
The maximum package recently was approximately ₹12 LPA, and the minimum package was approximately ₹3 LPA. The average package of the computer application stream remains around ₹4.5–5.5 LPA. Newgen Software, TCS iON, Sopra Steria, and Webkul are some of the companies that have come to the campus for recruitment.
The facilities and infrastructure of our college are good. Our college offers a good cafeteria, classrooms with Wi-Fi facilities, and clean, well-maintained labs with many new devices. The classrooms have smart boards that help us understand through videos. The library has a good collection of books. The hostel provides good food in the mess. A canteen is available for meals, and medical facilities are available nearby. Sports and games are well-supported by the management.
Maximum teachers are well-qualified and have good knowledge of their subjects. They are professional and able to clarify our doubts effectively. Attending classes attentively is sufficient to pass exams. The curriculum is relevant to industry needs, making students industry-ready. While exams are challenging, studying diligently can lead to higher scores, which aids in placements.
My College has a solid placement record, with over 75% of students securing jobs in top leading companies. The highest salary package for the past year was 14 LPA, while the average package is between 6 to 8 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Amazon frequently visit the campus for recruitment. Internships are also offered by reputed companies.
Classrooms are well-furnished and spacious, and there is a decent library with digital access options as well. But overall campus Wi-Fi speed is slow, and there is often a connection issue. Canteen space in peak hours also tends to become crowded, and there is a lot of room for improvement in medical support on campus
Most of the teachers in the BCA department are qualified and possess a strong academic background. They are also friendly and accessible to solve doubts and provide direction while working on projects or presenting. The curriculum is somewhat outdated and over-theoretical, with excessive dependence on theory that does not allow hands-on experience of actual-world tools and technologies.
Around 50% of the students from my batch managed to secure job offers . The minimum package offered was around ₹3 LPA, while the average ranged between ₹4.5 to ₹6 LPA. Some of the popular companies such as Nucleus Software, To The New, Infogain, and Sopra Steria came for recruitment.
Classrooms are equipped with projectors, appropriate seating, and ventilation. The department has well-equipped seminar halls and discussion rooms for guest lectures and group work. The library is rich in academic books, journals, and digital materials. Labs and computer centers are modern and utilized regularly for practical classes. Hostels are clean and safe, with Wi-Fi, hygienic mess food, and availability of basic amenities.
The teachers at KIET are supportive and knowledgeable. The majority of the professors emphasize interactive classes, such as presentations, live case studies, and workshops. The professors mentor students effectively in academic as well as career development. Students are regularly taken through seminars and industry interactions to bring them abreast of latest trends.
Approximately 80% students are placed each year based on their performance and specialization. A reasonable number of well-known companies from industries such as banking, consulting, FMCG, and IT services arrive on campus during placement season. Some of the top recruiters provide positions in sales, marketing, finance, and operations. Internship placements are also strongly supported, and nearly all students find internships during their second semester.
The college has a satisfactory campus infrastructure with good facilities for students. Classrooms are large with projectors, but air-conditioning is not present in all the rooms, which becomes troublesome in summers. Computer labs are well-maintained and contain the necessary software to practice programming. The library is stocked well with a quiet atmosphere conducive to study. Boys' and girls' hostels are available with clean rooms and good food.
There are three internal examinations prior to the semester final exams, the syllabus has a regular academic pattern, and internal tests are taken on a periodic basis. Faculty clear the doubts, and sometimes, during lectures are available for clarifying queries at odd hours to take care of academic or personal questions of the students.
About 70–75% of deserving BCA program students are placed annually. The highest package offered is about 3–4 LPA, whereas the best can go up to 8 LPA for meritorious students. Most recruitment is carried out by organizations such as Webkul, Coforge, MothersonSumi Infotech, and some local IT startups.
The campus of the university is very big, and the minimum infrastructure is good. The classrooms of the BBA department are clean, big, and fitted with fans and projectors. Wi-Fi facility is provided in some parts of the campus. Drinking water purifiers are in place, and the area is usually kept clean. Hostel facilities for boys and girls separately are provided, with proper security and good living conditions. Of the hostel buildings, some are new and in better condition compared to others.
Some of the teachers try to make classes interesting through presentations and interactive classes, but others stick to the book. If you’re looking for a more practical learning experience, you’ll need to take your own initiative through projects or external learning. Overall, the academic environment is supportive, but not very innovative.
The placement situation for BBA students at IIMT University is average. Although there is a placement cell at the university, the number of companies visiting specifically for BBA positions is low. The majority of the offers are for entry-level positions in sales, customer service, or business development. The majority of the visiting companies are mid-sized organizations or start-ups and not large MNCs.
The classrooms are clean, neat, and fitted with projectors and Wi-Fi. The library is spacious with a sufficient number of management books, journals, and digital sources. Computer laboratories are well-equipped and available whenever required. Hostel facilities are well maintained with neat rooms, regular food services, proper cleanliness, and continuous security. The canteen and mess areas provide hygienic and diverse food. Medical facilities are present on campus
The MBA department faculty is very knowledgeable and committed to the students' learning. They make it easy to comprehend subjects and are always available for clarification, even before class. The teaching style involves live case studies, presentations, role-plays, and group discussions, which makes learning more practical and industry-related. The curriculum is updated regularly to match current business needs.
The college makes sure that students are placed as per their level of skill and desire. Most of the senior batch students have been offered good packages with the topmost salary package reaching up to approximately 16–18 LPA, while the average package remains between 5 to 6 LPA.
The hostel facilities are good, and the food is also good. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, libraries, canteens, digital library, seminar halls, amenities centres, etc., are available in our college. The college has good infrastructure and excellent labs.
Professors in our college are well-qualified, and they provide excellent teaching. They provide assistance in extracurricular activities and events. The course curriculum is provided by the university, and it is good.
Good placements are ensured. Top recruiting companies were TCS, Havels, Crompton Greaves, Bajaj Electrical, KSEB etc. The placement cell of our college did a great job. But the placements are usually high for IT companies. Placements in core fields are low.
The hostel facilities are good, and the food is also good. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, libraries, canteens, digital library, seminar halls, amenities centres, etc., are available in our college. The college has good infrastructure and excellent labs.
The college follows the syllabus and curriculum of KTU. The course curriculum includes a 100-days internship which is a really good opportunity for students. Although the curriculum is somewhat traditional and needs to be worked upon. There are some good senior faculty members. But I see a lot of guest lecturers who have just passed out now
The architecture course generally doesn't have placements. So, the chances of getting a job directly from college placements during the course are low. It is the case of B.Arch in most colleges. You can go for placement opportunities in other industries
The library is great with plenty of books and study materials, and there are decent places for group study and student activities. But there are still some areas that require improvement. For instance, Wi-Fi very rarely works appropriately, and then it is the source of tension when you desperately need it to do your assignment or online lectures. Furthermore, in summers, the lack of cold drinking water throughout the entire campus is also a grave problem that should be resolved.
The lecturers are well-qualified, seasoned, and truly care about the development of students. They clarify concepts well and are quite accessible outside the classroom, too. Most of them utilize real-life examples, recent case studies, and foster class discussions, which enriches the learning process.
Certain big companies may come to campus, and few students do pick up decent posts, generally related to finance, marketing, or operations. Nonetheless, much remains contingent on hard work, internship, and complementary courses such as CA, CFA, or MBA. The placement cell is helpful and gives opportunities from time to time, but the competition is tough, and only a few students get placed with good packages.
Infrastructure is modern and well-maintained. The library is a significant asset, housing a vast collection of books on technology, web development, hacking and full-stack development. Medical facilities are available at various points in college.Thw
The Faculty is known for its dedication and approachability. The teachers are preety helpful and polite. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. semester exams are neither very difficult nor very easy.
The college boasts a commendable placement record. The institute's placement cell actively facilitates internships and job opportunities, ensuring students are well-prepared for the corporate world. Top recruiters are HDFC Bank and Wipro etc.
The infrastructure is good, with different blocks for various departments. Classrooms are large, and students are provided with specific rooms for lectures. The hostel facilities are good, but the mess food is poor—tendency to be oily and repetitive. Hostel rules are very strict, with lesser flexibility in terms of timing and movement, particularly for first-year students.
The quality of faculty is mixed. Most of the teachers are quite new and do not have extensive industry exposure, which at times restricts the level of guidance they can offer. Exams are not too tough, everthing is perfect interms for study.
Best thing i have observed is the placement of the galgotias university, i selected as Application engineer at SixD Engineering Solutions Pvt Ltd during my mba, most of my classmates are placed in good and reputed companies like Accenture, HCL, TCS etc.
The facilities are basic,Although the college has the minimum facilities, there is a huge gap between the increasing fees and decreasing quality of service. The mess food is okay in terms of cleanliness and variety. The hostel students usually prefer taking rooms outside for greater freedom and convenience.
The syllabus is aligned with the updated curriculum , and it is both theoretical and industry-specific. It is not so difficult to clear the examinations, but the students do need to put effort.the teachers are very supportive and passionate about their role.
For BCA students, placement prospects are below average. Even though some software engineer and system engineer positions are occasionally offered, most guest companies are service firms or startups, and the majority of them request students to sign a bond, where not much flexibility is offered.
