Eligibility Criteria
- A candidate who has passed 10 + 2 patterns of examination (equivalent to the two years Pre University in Karnataka) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination is eligible to pursue an undergraduate degree in engineering at MSRIT.
- The eligibility for admission is 45% in case of General Category and 40% marks in the qualifying examination in case of SC/ST, Category-1 and OBC Category candidates. The marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics in the qualifying examination will be considered in the place of Chemistry in case the marks obtained in Chemistry is less for the required aggregate percentage for the purpose of determination of eligibility (and not for the purpose of determination of rank, in respect of engineering/technology courses).

College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is actually very good. There is Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the campus. There are basically 2 labs for my branch; apart from this, we also have a lab established by Intel, which is the Intel core Lab, and a lab established by Apple, Inc. We have a library completely dedicated to the circuital branches, which holds a good amount of books and fulfils our needs completely. The hostel is okayish but can be adjusted. Compared with other hostels or PGs, the college hostel is much better. The mess isn't that good, but that too is manageable.

College Infrastructure
Facilities of the college are nice, but don't expect it to be like other NITs or VIT. Labs are equipped with computers with i7 processors. Wi-Fi facilities are also available inside the campus. There are 4-5 libraries where you can study or borrow books of various domains.

College Infrastructure
Total campus is well-designed with modern classrooms, spacious seminar halls, and high-tech labs. Each department has its own advanced lab facilities where students can work on projects and experiments. The library is digitalized, providing e-books, journals, and databases that students can access anytime. The hostel accommodation is good, with Wi-Fi, decent mess food, and separate facilities for boys and girls. The college also has playgrounds, indoor sports facilities, cafeterias, and a gym.
