The placement cell helps the students to get the good job and give some training related to interview so anyone can crack it easily. Almost 80% students get the job on campus. They also provide some summer training to get some skills and experience related your career.

Hostel food is fine. But the same menu every week will get boring for students. PG hostel fees are 10,000 to 15,000, which is higher than in normal hostels. They will give leave only by getting permission from parents by phone call and receiving SMS from parents' mobile numbers.

Each block has 3 papers and at the at the end of each block, an exam is conducted. After the completion of four blocks, the semester exam is conducted. It is easy to pass if we attend the class regularly.The college uses TAP - R model, which means subjects are divided into 4 blocks.

They provide a very good package, like a 700000 package to fulfill the students demands; almost 80 students got placed and got their desired jobs.The college placement session, some companies arrived in the college, such as TCS, Capgemini, IBM, etc.

It also provided a separate connection for drinking water. Triple occupancy hostel rooms were available. It also provided tables, chairs, cots, shelves, etc. There was a common television room on our campus. The registration process was simple. The food quality was good.

All faculty members were highly qualified and helpful. The teaching quality was better for us to understand every topic easily. If we studied well, we would score good marks during exams. Semester exams were not difficult.

The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. Almost 100% of students got internships in this course. Few students opted for higher studiesMany students got placed in this course. Top recruiting companies were Amazon, E&Y, KPMG, Deloitte, etc.

Wi-Fi is available everywhere in our college. There is a huge library where we can get many books related to engineering, law, sciences, humanities, novels, etc. Classrooms are huge and highly ventilated with projectors. Labs have a good quantity of equipment. I can give a rating of 10 stars out of 10 stars for facilities in the hostel as the food served is really tasty and healthy. They provide balls, bats, etc., for sports in the hostel and campus also.

Teachers here are qualified with PhDs from IITs, BITS and many other good colleges. They provide good teaching quality. This course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Most of the students are very well prepared for the industry as there are many student clubs internally, which helps them to grow.

About 90% to 94% of students got placed last year from our college. The salary package offered starts from 1.2 LPA to 20 LPA or 30 LPA. Top recruiting companies here are TCS, Capgemini, Amazon and many more. About 80% to 90% of students do internships in Microsoft, Goldman Sachs and all other private companies.

My college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment etc. the experience in my college has been fantastic, in my college there is a club for enjoying and there is a playground too. As far as the placement of this college is concerned so it's quite fair some companies come but the package is too low and there is no gurantee for being selected or placed but some students are placed with low salary.

Talking about the infrastructure, it is well and good, but the condition of the PCs in various labs are poor. Some of them are nearly 10 to 12 years old. Most of the A/Cs are also broken and in bad conditions, but the other facilities are too good.

The faculty members are responsive, hardworking, and student-friendly. They put all their efforts to make our study a bit simple. I am very much satisfied with them. They are qualified, well-behaved, and supportive. They may scold us, but they love us much.

The placements are not good on the campus. I mean the condition of IT and core industries is not well, for this reason, they are hiring less number of students. So, nowadays, the condition of placement is not good, you have to try off-campus to get a job or prepare yourself for GATE.

Hostel facilities provide the basic necessities to the students. The fees per semester fee of the hostel is rupees 10000. There are three beds in a room. The hostel is wifi enabled and the food served in the hostel is kind of okay. Canteen are so costly and library is so nice.

Honestly speaking, some of the faculty members are really good while some of them and least concerned about us and syllabus. The hnest faculty members are really helpful and supportive and give us proper guidance. the faculty is coorpertive and highly experienced one. They are highly trained to make us understand every topic with the least difficulty.
Placements
Very few companies visit the college and those who visit are only for the computer science or it department. It is really hard getting placement here. This is one more drawback that the college possesses. Students from m.tech and MBA hae witnessed placments from top companies like hewlett-packard (HP), cairn syntel.

Top recruiters were Amul, Mother Dairy and Federal Bank.

The whole campus consist of some new buildings and old buildings but both are properly renovated. The college has its own medical team which looks after the health of students which is quite rare in B-schools. Hostel rooms are good with an accommodation facility of 1 and 2 students per room.

Students' sports secretary organises sports events along with football and billiards tables, etc.

As they also live in the same campus, the relationship between the faculty members and students is very friendly. recruits the best faculty members available in the disciplines and takes regular feedback from the students. . Industry exposure could have been more but few visits have been planned. The faculty are helpful, and I can say that they are available anytime on the campus.

The highest package was INR 48 lakhs per annum, and the lowest was INR 4.5 lakhs per annum, and the average was INR 10.5 lakhs per annum. The roles offered were majorly in the areas of operations, marketing, and agri-business.

The placement cell at Miranda House is quite effective and inclusive. A student from mathematics with honors got placed in good companies like Infosys as the data analyst intern with a 12–14 LPA. It gives the opportunity for an internship as well during college time.

The campus of IIT G is known for its beauty. You can see swans around and every hostel has its own stationary and juice centre. It has an impressive library and bus services that are available for travel around the city. Sports complex fulfill all the requirements and medical facilities are free.

Faculty in my department is good; they are supportive. Most of them give good grades compared to professors in other departments. Many of us from our branch pursue roles like software or non-teaching roles. Being in this branch gives them sufficient time to prepare as the courses are not so hectic. Semester exams are easy; almost everyone passes, but exceptions are everywhere.
Placements
IIT Guwahati mechanical department has been given a lot of awards for having a high passing percentage of students. Its placement statistics are also good enough. The average package is around 10 to 15 LPA with top recruiters being TATA, Mahindra, Bajaj, In core, etc. With roles of design engineer, project manager, production engineer etc.
