College Infrastructure
The Infrastructure is actually quite good.. i loved the sports academy the most as it genuinely had everything from gym to swimming pool to squash courts to badminton, basketball.. As a bookworm, I also love their huge library, which also has a section for quiet studying. The none of my core courses had any lab but during my psychology elective we did conduct an expirement in the psychology lab which was new and fun. Thier on - campus laundry service is also quite convenient and so is the courier office, where we can receive and get parcels from almost every e-commerce site.
Academics
Overall, JGU ha a total of 12 schools and 50+ programs across Law, Business, International Affairs, Liberal Art, and many more. It's almost like studying abroad with the kind of curriculum and faculty that there is. I like cross-electives the most as I can choose a course from any of the 12 schools while continuing my core courses. Many of my friends have also gone for sex ex and other study abroad opportunities to Japan, Geneva, Spain, Germany and others.
Placements
Office of Career Services OCS looks after the internships and career opportunities. they help connect you with various ngo, MNCs, or other corporate or government entities. They organise training and career guidance sessions for students to make them job-ready, like skill-building classes, guest talks, and mock interview preparation.
Campus Life
The campus feels like a mini city with cafes and renowed food outlets like Startbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Bercos, Dominos, Chicago Pizza, etc. I was a member of its annual fest and it genuinely taught me more than any book ever would. There are many student-led societies and events that happen frequently in the campus.. we've had guest lectures from Shashi Tharoor, Amitabh Kant, Sachin Pilot, Atishi, Arvind Subramanian among others. The campus also offers you space for quiet study time at the global reading room or other quiet spaces.

Library is good with many books available for students. Canteen food is okay and affordable. WiFi facility is there but sometimes internet speed become slow during busy hours.

The academics of the college is quite good and teachers are also supportive. Most of the professors explain topics nicely but sometimes classes gets boring. Notes and study material are provided regularly. Exams are conducted properly and students get enough time for preparation. Overall, academics help students to improve their knowledge and skills alot.

Placements in the college are average but many students gets opportunities every year. Some reputed companies visits the campus for recruitment process. Placement cell also guide students for interviews and resume making. Salary packages are not very high for all courses, but hardworking students can still get good jobs through campus placements.

Placement at ims and sum hospital are decent, with internship opportunities for about 1 year in its own hospital. Most students persue PG studies; direct placements are limited but clinical exposure is strong.

Campus life at IMS and SUM Hospital is good with a safe, clean campus, hostels, fests that is conducted by our own students, various clubs like dance, music, sports. There are good senior-junior interaction. Students experience their best collage life with academic as well as non academic events. Friends make the campus life worth it.

I studied in Laxman Prasad Baidh government girls college Bemetara which comes under Hemchand Yadav University. The college infrastructure is average but provides basic facilities for students. The campus has a canteen, parking area and hostel for accommodation. Classrooms are equipped with smart board however the college doesn't provide wifi facilities at that time.

The infrastructure is quite simple and basic. The classrooms are comfortable enough for daily lectures, and the college has computer labs and a library for studying. Every classroom has smart boards and projectors for better learning. And the college has lift too.

Academically, the college is great with ethical mentorship . The teachers are helpful and try their best to explain topics clearly. If you are sincere, you can definitely learn a lot here. However, the teaching is mostly theoretical, and once in a while there's industry exposure. If you have that passion then you can surely learn more.

The college Infrastructure is decent with a good air quality because it's near ganga From a Geography student’s perspective, the location itself becomes a learning space. Being in Varanasi gives exposure to urban geography, cultural landscapes, river-based settlement patterns, tourism, and environmental issues around the Ganga.
