SIT Sitamarhi has a 10-acre campus with Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, CSE/Mech/Civil/ECE labs, 10,000+ book library, separate hostels, mess, canteen, sports ground, seminar hall, and bus service. Facilities are basic and still developing.

Placements are developing. Average package ₹2.5-3.5 LPA, highest ~₹6 LPA off-campus. TCS, Wipro, HCL, local firms visit. ∼40-60% placed mainly in CSE/ECE. Many opt for GATE/off-campus. Training & Placement cell active but limited core company visits.

Semi-urban 10-acre campus. Annual tech fest, cultural events, Saraswati Puja celebrated. Sports: cricket, volleyball, badminton. Active coding & cultural clubs. Hostel life lively. Limited city hangouts, Sitamarhi town nearby. Mostly local Bihar students, friendly crowd.

The infrastructure is above average compared to most Mumbai colleges, but not the best. Classrooms are decent and all have AC and projectors, which makes lectures comfortable. Labs have the required equipment and systems, though some can still be improved. The library is good and useful for studying. WiFi is available across campus but can be slow at times. The campus is big and green, which is a nice plus. Overall, facilities are good but not top-level.

I am studying Computer Engineering. The teaching quality is decent. Some teachers explain very well, while some are average. The syllabus is updated and includes modern topics like AI and data science. Projects and assignments help in learning, but you still need to study on your own to gain strong skills. Overall academics are good but not exceptional.
Placements
Placements are average. Many companies like TCS, Accenture, and Capgemini visit the college. The average package is okay, and a few students get good offers. The college provides support, but students need to work on their own skills like coding and projects. If you prepare well, you can get placed, but it is not guaranteed for everyone.
Campus Life
Campus life is good and one of the better parts of the college. The campus is spacious and has a nice environment. There are many fests, events, and clubs where students can participate. The crowd is friendly and diverse. The location in Mumbai is also convenient and safe. Overall, college life here is enjoyable.

This college is a decent option in Mumbai. It gives a good balance between academics and college life. However, students should not depend only on college for placements and must work on their own skills. The college is improving slowly, especially in placements.

this college infrastructure is good but with very basic and classrooms, labs and libraries are very adequately maintained. Campus or the facilities are not that modern but there is cope for improvement in terms of upgrades and overall campus development.

academics are strong, especially in fields like home science, nutrition & human development, but the curriculum is well- structured and focuses on both theory and practical skills and the faculty is very supportive.

the university does have placement cell and company visits but it’s totally depends a lot on your course and personal skills. this also depends on how much experience you have or have knowledge about your course.

campus life is simple and more academic focused, students do get opportunities to participate in cultural events and various other activities and workshops.

The infrastructure of the college feels a bit worn out and it becomes evident during the rainy season.This college offers a huge campus which is well maintained wth proper staff,but the drainage system is not very great.I feel even the Harrapan Civilization people will loook at this and make fun of the administration,given that even with all this technology the college cannot maintain the drainage area properly.During the monsoon,it feels like i am in an unpaid waterpark becaise the corridors are filled with water,at least upto the ankles.

Academics are fairly structured with clear syllabus and regular classes. Some teachers are supportive and explain concepts well but the overall quality can vary across subjects.The teachers are friendly and helpful but some of them make questionable statements.

idk much personally yet but from what i have heard, placements aren't that great. Most students rely on their own efforts rather that depending fully on the college.Placements are a bit weak but the college is currently working on it .

Campus life is okayish. It is not very happening and fests are not that fun or exciting. There are some activities but overall the vibe feels a bit dull most of the time. You can still find your own fun with great company.

Since 2024, I have seen many changes made to the already great infrastructure. ACs in classes, renovated bathrooms, new labs etc. Both the buildings have a great infrastructure and basic facilities required. The laboratories as well as classes are regularly maintained. The washrooms are also regularly cleaned. The library lacks AC but is built over 3 floors and extensive. The canteen has variety as well as great food, which keeps improving as well.
Academics
I am studying BTech in Electronics and Computer Engineering because of my keen interest in numerous technical fields. I feel that the curriculum set for my diverse stream helped me understand different subjects and find my interests. The curriculum is regularly updated to suit the field. The Continuous Assessments and Project making is a great help in getting an idea about the applications of the topic and possible careers in the same.
Placements
Haven't personally experienced the placement drive myself, but hearing it from the seniors and from the placement news we receive on our college email shows that a lot of reputed companies come for placements, and a lot of students from all streams have been placed in major companies.
Campus Life
The campus is lively and always accessible. Located very near to the Vidyavihar station, and also made in a central location of Mumbai, it's accessible by auto, buses, local etc. The hostels provided are also within the university. The support staff has always been kind and helpful, and my requests and queries are always answered promptly. They also offer concessions on local passes which is of great help to a lot of students, including myself.
