I am studying BSc(hons) biochemistry, in terms of academic life it's really the best college to pursue with. Sri Venkateswara College, popularly known as Venky ranks among top colleges of DU. As NEP has been introduced from last year so there has been a change in curriculum & Yes attendance does matter here ,you have to maintain a 67% semester wise.

In Science courses , you won't able to easily find placement in the same field job. But placement are really good specially for Commerce students & even for arts students ; because placement cell is there and they organize events for the students.

Overall the campus life is awesome, it's really safe inside and even outside around the campus. The college has different societies and clubs that the students can become a part of ; but need to look after studies & attendance properly side by side. Academics are well proper. I have studying masters in computer applications. Curriculum is well updated. and the teachers is also very well educated to teach the students this course makes the students ready for the placement in their fields and good skill development.

The average placement of MCA is about 4-5 lakhs/annum and almost more than 40% of students got the placements according to the domain and sector and the college is well supportive in terms of placement. One wants better opportunity can look off campus.

It is british construction so the buildings are old. But the campus is very green and they have labelled all the trees planted in the campus. Personally, I like the vibe. The library has a lot of books. The washroom and waiting rooms are spacious.

The teachers are very experienced and knowledgeable. I am not so sure about the lectures overall as I was a not attending student. But i know that they used to conduct seminars for the students. I have attended some of those and they were helpful and intresting.

Do not expect too much in terms of placements. They do have a very active placement cell though. But do not expect a high paying salary offer. But the teachers give you opportunities and tell you to apply whenever they get to know of any vacancies.

As i mentioned above, the campus is decent and ancient. Personally, I like the vibe of the area. It's very green and clean. Besides tere are cafes near the campus, so that's good. it is also located next to chitnavis park.

Yes my college had all necessary infrastructure equipments and facilities and equipments available and the classrooms were fully air conditioned during the summers and fully warm during the winters because of the heaters and Wi-Fi facilities were available all around the campus and the living spaces were clean and food was very hygienic.
