Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a four-year (8 Semesters) full-time undergraduate program offered by National Institute of Technology Srinagar.

The faculty specializations include VLSI design, Communications, Image Processing, micro-electronics, machine Vision, data security etc. The Department is an ISTE approved center for offering computer science courses. The Department offers consultancy and research in many areas.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12 th /qualifying examination in order to be eligible for writing JEE (Main). The candidates who have taken four subjects are not permitted to write JEE (Main) and if such candidates appear in JEE (Main) by furnishing wrong information, their rank/result will not be declared.

Admission Details

Candidates shall be offered admission based on their choices and All India Ranks of JEE (Main) through a Seat Allocation Process to be announced later. The candidates will be able to make their choices online for branches /programs and institutes at the appropriate time.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of Nit srinagar is not too good . All the bulidings are old but classrooms are very good and attractive. The hostels are average. The roofs are not good their is problem of drainage system.

College is good, but life at college can be improved

College Infrastructure

Overall the infrastructure of college is not good, and the facilities provided here for hostellers is not comfortable rather it is congested, as there are 5-6 boys living in one room (1st and 2nd year students together). Mess facility is also average and the quality of food should improve.

College Infrastructure

Its infrastructure is very good and the most beautiful thing is you can see a very good scenario out side the campus. But the worst thing is that the area is always enriched with public riots and curfew. Anyway all the facilities are provided.
