My overall experience in the college has been fantastic.The university management, faculty, students are bonded together as a family.There are a lot of technical and cultural fests, which are very important in every student's life.There are different technical clubs which make us engage in different advancements.The atmosphere of college is quite pleasant and safe. As per my opinion, i'm studying in BSC Computer science and faculty of bsc cs is good. Daily lec and practicals are conducted on timing. Labs are available for practicals. Presentation skills will be developed by college for students.

Quality of placement at CHM is good or average as i don't have much idea about it. As per college records 60-70% students get selected. Yes college is supportive, teachers guides student for placements

Nit Rourkela is well known for it's lush green campus and also equipped with best facilities like swimming pool, cricket ground, library and 24*7 internet facilities. The main building is well know for various academic works and also vs HALL is regarded as the second best hostel in Asia that can accomodate large number of students. The food is good and hygenic. You will get non-veg every day except monday. On sunday you will get chicken tandoor in nonveg which is very delicious.

I am pursuing my btech in industrial design department that includes basically designing softwares where you can work as UI/UX designer in the future. The quality of teaching is not good at all. Most of the professors tends to teach through slides and ppt. But the examination department is very strict ,they easily impose penalty for a small mistake also. Yes curriculum is updated but the fact is that the professors don't teach the whole syllabus, they skip most of the syllabus.
Placements
Beleive me when it's come to placement statistics, Ican assure you that you will definitely get placed if you work a little hard. Most of the IT companies comes to recruit thousands of students. Microsoft generall offer the highest placement package that is 42 lakhs/annum while the lowest is offered by TCS or Wipro(mass recruitment). Average salary generally offered to the students is generally 6 lakhs per annum.

Students can take parts in various clubs and SAC is well known for funding the clubs and organising various cultural events. The wprst feature is that it does not have groundsmen to maintain the fields as a result seniors will force you to work day and night in order to maintain the ground while mathches are conducted. Yes , it's quite safe with lush green campus and the workers are also too hardworking and helpful in nature. Yes, it can handle emergencies and Igh is THERE FOR MEDICAL SUPPORT.

MIT college has a very old infrastructure of 1957 however new buildings are being built. All the facilities are provided to students but the campus area is too short. the facilities provided in classroom are very good however not all classes are well maintained. The hostels are quite good and the facilities of food and hygiene is up to date. The college is well secured but regular disputes happened between Boys hostelers. But it is good to be here with low jee score.

I am studying electronics and telecommunication engineering because of my interest in this area. The quality of teaching is quite good and teachers try to give maximum out of themselves. the course gets updated time to time and it includes the recent developments and the facilities try to give all the required knowledge to the students. this type of study makes us job oriented and for preparation of exams like GATE .

The quality of placement has been good but average. Almost 30 to 40 % students are placed. the highest salary package has been 8 lakh per annum for ET. It has been 12 lakh per annum for CSE past year. despite the placements the process is very good and all the staff of college campus help students to get maximum out of them self.

We have an ancient gothic infrastructure which is truly mesmerising but it call for limitations to the usage of currently available technologies and so we do not have ACs or lifts in the college which could make the experience less hectic in the uncomfortable humid of Bombay .

Teachers are par excellence in every course but I feel studies could be made more practical and interactive in college . Although they are moving forward with various ways of teaching such as taking classes in the quadrangle or in the canteen area which makes students want to be a part of the class , so we are improving .

The college does provide us with necessary infrastructure. Although the infrastructure of each block is not the same. Block 1 has a completely different seating style and is not very comfortable as compared to Block 4. The bathrooms used by students are not well maintained but the bathrooms used by parents during the time of admission is kept clean.

The campus is amazing. Truly. There is always some event or fest happening almost everyday and the campus is filled with good vibes. The food on campus is also great. The teaching quality is OK with professors having good command on subjects. All departments faculty are good and supportive except the faculties in EXTC department. The faculties of EXTC department are not supportive with students related to assignments,projects,etc.

Companies visiting on campus are very less.Most of the students get placed in pool campus.Placements of the college are OK with most of the students from Comps,IT and EXTC are placed on campus. Students from Mechanical, Civil find it difficult to get placed in their domian and some students end up getting placed in an IT company.
