54 MonthsBachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) is a four-year and six-month compulsory internship course offered by the West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Kolkata, and approved by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP).
The candidate must pass the H.S. (10+2) examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education/ ISC/ CBSC or its equivalent from any recognized Board/ Council in regular class mode.
The candidate must secure at least 50% (40% for SC/ST/OBC-A & B, PwD candidates) marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical separately, wherever applicable) in each subject also with a pass mark in English.
For students who are interested in admission for any academic sessions, the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) conducts a common entrance examination titled JENPAS-UG (formerly known as JENPAUH) for admission to the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) for the state of West Bengal.
College is situated in north Kolkata and walking distance from Girish Park metro station. The college campus is small and only one building is there. College has its own OPD with latest equipments. One decent size auditorium is also there.
