The infrastructure is fairly average as the campus is very small and not all the facilities are provided. The labs do not have necessary apparatus and the classrooms are not equipped with smart boards. The canteen has not a huge variety of foods; the hostel facilities fail to meet the basic requirements. There is a sports ground and courts for other indoor games like table tennis and basketball.

The faculty is qualified and experienced, and the teachers cooperate with students. I was pursuing CS in the college which was not satisfactory as far as its curriculum is concerned. The jobs require novel skills which cannot be imbibed through the age old curriculum followed by the college. Hence, the course does not make one job ready. Moreover, there is no practical application and more emphasis is placed on cramming the theory. There are no attendance issues as such.
Placements
The placements was good but the proportion of students placed was just 50%or less. The college has a club which looks after the recruitment drive in the college, and hence the college is supportive. But the average package is low ranging between 3 to 4 lacs p/a. The highest package in our course was 12 lacs approximately. But the jobs offered don't cover all the courses, and not all the students from different courses can aspire to be placed at companies with their desired roles.
Campus Life
The campus life is good with places to hang out around the college. The students can engage in societies in the college like dance, music and theater which might help them honing their extra-curricular skills. The teachers are good and the support staff is cooperative. The location is not a problem but there are no medical facilities, so to say, in the college.

The campus is over all good but you are always followed by so many restrictions that will frustrate you sometimes .You will have to give your 80% of the day to this college for a program like BBA, the timings are 9 AM TO 5 PM and additional 1-2 hours more if you are a Day Scholar. The timing is a issue because it restricts you in so many ways. There many rules and regulations which really crosses your mind , such as you have to maintain 90% attendance or else you pay huge amount money as fine.

Regarding the above, the only thing lacking is new age laboratory instruments like digital universal testing machine & Digital Consolidation testing apparatus. We still do have the analog counterparts but, considering it to be an A grade University with high tuition fees this is a downside. We do not have any specialized labs for Transportation Engineering if that's what you are looking for.

This is a research institution so Academics are excellent. As I previously mentioned the only area we are lacking in is Transportation Engineering. The faculty are experts in their respective fields. If you want to pursue in core Engineering, only a few core companies hire during ON-Campus-Placements. There are mass recruiters (BYJU's Etc.) and getting in is a piece of cake with a good starting yearly salary. Campus placements itself is a department (called CIR - Corporate & Industry Relations) who work around the year to help students get placed. They also help students to hone their skills in Aptitude & Practical English.
