I am in the material science and technology branch which is mainly a research and development field.I am interested in pursuing higher studies in future so this was the best college that i could get from my rank.We have some very helpful professors who try to stay in touch with the industry so that it can get us placed.

The average salary offered differs from branch to branch but it was around 17-18 lakhs per anum.The placement was quite good as told by our seniors and college was quite supportive.

The academics part of our university is quite decent. The faculty available for the students are top notch and are supportive to a great part. But the pace of completing the syllabus is too fast for the students and 6 months semester is just completed in only 3.5 months.

The placement part of our college is good. BIT have a good number of hiring partners and with a decent package of average around 400k per annum, and reputed companies like wipro, tcs, etc comes to our campus for hiring.

I am an electrical engineering student. Well the academics here are absolutely fine and comfortable. One does not need to get stressed about his/her grades and results. A care free study is done here. The curriculum is updated and recently a replica of an aero plane is introduced in the campus for mechanical students.

There is no doubt about the placements in our college , every year almost all students get placed with good packages, the percentage would be 80%, because not all students choose to do jobs , there are students who opt for higher education.The overall average of package is 10 to 15 LPA , the placements process will be very smooth and there is a student run placement cell in our college.

The best features of this college is it's large playground, its greenery, the teachers. The only one bad thing is that the attendance criteria i.e. you have to maintain a 75% attendance in college to be on a safe zone. The teachers here are really supportive in both academic and non-academic things. This college is situated on a rural area with a railway station its near by.

IIT Kharagpur, the mother of all IITs and the largest, is one of the most prolific institutes in India. The students here get lots of facilities at the college. The classrooms are all well-maintained and divided into two types- Circular and Rectangular for a better view of students. The Central Library of IIT Kharagpur is India's biggest and most-facilitated Library of India. Sports centers and grounds are available for students to pursue their interests. The mess food is mediocre but eatable.

I am currently studying in the Department of Electrical Engineering. Being a Fresher here, each 1st year Under Graduate student has to learn the same subjects for the current year. Some of the professors' lessons are not so easy to understand, but the books available for the subject make the topic clear. I think the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field such as laboratories and machines.

Well infrastructure wise the college is among the top college of India with a lot of world-class buildings name technology Tower Silver Jubilee Tower and a beautiful period library which has three floors with the numerous sections of books. The library is very good and large inside the campus and every student can take the advantage of it and issue any book for 2 to 3 weeks.

The CAD mix is fine but quite hectic I would say a bit excessive work has to be done with very less input of knowledge from those but he has the professors help a lot and they address each and every need of the student academics. It is quite similar to other colleges faculties are assigned the basis of their specialisation and the steam they have worked or are working in the case of visiting faculties.

Placements as a core part of the reason why VIT is preferred among other private institutes the placements are the pivotal part of VAT and to be honest we IT office in new label opportunities in different companies and fields with a lot of companies with visiting the campus.
