I am sharing my own experience in IIT GUWAHATI after spending 1yr. Infrastructure of IIT GUWAHATI is top noch as being top IIT. All classrooms and laboratories are air conditioned. All laboratories are well maintained with modern facilities and essentials.

Academic of IIT GUWAHATI is better and profs are also good and helpful except few and it also depends on department. like ,CSE, EEE, Mech, civil and MnC are hectic dept. there is difficult to score and there is need to study more as compare to other branches.

Placement of IITG is out standing. not every body get internship but almost 70-80% student got from circuital CSE and MnC. placement vary with branches as other top IIT. Almost 85% placement rate is here for B.tech.

One main reason is; the college is known as an engineering college so most of the people are not aware about the MBA course offered in this college. Infrastructure of sharda is really too good i would say. Good Campus location with good facilities as for each sport specific ground provided as well for whole campus wifi is installed maybe not on roads but in hostel rooms and class it completely coming. Hygienic of our campus hostel mess is good i would surely say its better but not really for other mess of campus there are many hostel and different mess so you can consider different taste and menu in all mess.

Our current teaching faculty is mostly Phd holder and having good experience so its really good for us to learn easily and with there experience it help us to understand as they easily make us understand each topics and we even wishes our few current faculty to continue with us in further semester too

I havn't know much about the placement but recently what is heard of placement record of passout batch was really good as there where alot company came for placement and many top names of companies where too came out. Our university provide special training to us from the first year itself to get ready for the placement procedure like there test,viva, self introduction so from early stage we get familiar what we excatly have to do there.

Campus life is really enjoying and joyfull as we really enjoying being when we are free in grounds or we get our self confortable in library.
