My academy is not not very good like all with teacher were not very competitive. There teaching method is not suitable for management course. The quality of presentation that they have is not up to the mark.

Like the placements are not very good but if you compare it in terms of return on investment then it is reasonable. Like theytry to give 100% placement doesn't matter what it is for sale so something else

Campus life is quiet enjoyable. These can one of the great years of life

There are placements but they are very less as compared to it's demand but now they are improving their placement cells and hiring placement officers. I am just a fresher so i don't have any idea regarding how much package has been offered.

Academics of GB pant govt engineering college is outstanding .the faculty is very nice . They help is with every small to small and large to large doubts . We hAve very good labs with all the needed equipments with well qualified lab teachers and professora.

Placement of our college is average with average package of 6-7 l/pa . Last year the minimum salary package was 4 lacks p.a. and maximum was 13 lacks p.a. The mechanical stream package goes very high every year .

Our college has cricket ground , badminton court , basketball , football , volleyball court , also there are so many indoor games facilities . The college canteen is also good and the classrooms and corridoors are also nice .

The Academics part of the college is better than the average. For the first year students it might not be much benificial as they are taught all subjects but from 2nd year onwards main stream subjects are taught only.

Nit Hamirpur has had a good placement record over the past years. As the statistics for the last years have said the highest package reached upto 1.9 crores. The average package remains accross 12-13 Lpa.

B.Com hons, the quality of teaching is decent with quality professors. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments. Most of the faculty has doctorates in their respective areas.

Campus life is dull for students in the morning department following a monotonous routine of attending college at 6AM and leaving the campus for studies of other professional colleges at 9:50 AM. All the more, the college administration is too stringent with respect to certain rules which makes it a bore to attend colleges which they have to because of attendance criterias and the too reach the college not later than 6:02 or miss the first class.

The infrastructure of the college is very decent and the campus is spread across 300 acers and we also have access to the cyber library in our college it is super and Commerce facutlly also has its own hostel around 500 meters away from college building.

Honestly speaking as I heard the reputation of the college was excellent but when I joined in I got to know once you get admitted here you have to complete your study by yourself only and classes here runs very occasionaly.

We have a placement cell in our college but it is for post graduates not for undergraduates So you can get an average placement from here about 10-15k monthly on your own. But some companies pick extraordinary candidates from undergrad courses also.

I am studying electronic and communication engineering and it's include both hardware and software about the computer subject. The quality of teaching is good teachers are well educated and some teachers are friendly . The curriculum is based on IPU and is updated and includes all recent developments. And it makes us all job ready.
Placements
Yes the quality of placements is average. 60 percent of students get placed and get good salary. CSE gets highest placement and is 12 LPA ECE students gets placed about 60-70 percent and average salary is 3.6 LPA.

IIT Roorkee is amazing. It does have great infrastructure. Great library to study, hostels with gym, lawns, courts to play. Plus, sports ground is huge, we have courts for basketball, tennis, badminton, volleyball, squash, etc. Mess food is better. It's not that bad. The place is hygienic and posh.

I am in Product and Industrial engineering branch. My branch have courses of mechanical and management department. Anyone who wants to pursue for management, higher studies, this branch is good. Some Courses are little outdated, but we get to learn from them.

We have decent placements in our college. Highest package was offered to CSE branch, average package is of 22LPA . In my college, we have Placement and Internship Cell which handles this entire process. They help to make this process easy for students.

Campus life is awesome in roorkee, especially in spring season.James Thomason building, ECE tower(at night), are main attraction of campus :)

I am studying in Mechanical Department ( Production and Industrial Engineering ), currently studying in 2nd year I have a good experience regarding the teaching in my first year. But as the things go online due to pandemic the screen time of nearly 7-8 hours a day goes worst for us.
Placements
Comparing to other IITs I will refer IIT Roorkee as the best institute regarding placements, the reason for that is you will get placed and your branch will not be any obstacle in it. I have seen many students of other IITs who struggle for placements because their branches are not CSE, IITR is not between them.

The college has excellent infrastructure. The laboratories have equipment ranging from the oldest to the latest. LAN speed in-our campus is one of the best in India. Sometimes LAN speed even reaches to a whooping 1 Gbps. On an average speed varies from 300-400 Mbps. The institute central library is one of the best academic libraries of the country. It is fully air conditioned and is open 24/7 during exams. Freshmen get best hostels.The food is hygienic. The quality differ from hostel to hostel.

I am pursuing Production and industrial engineering, presently in B.Tech 2nd year. I have chosen this branch since the course is light and I get a lot of free time for further preparations. All the professors are quite friendly. They often clear out all our doubts and even give some career guidance. The curriculum is often updated. The study never actually makes one job ready...the skills do. The campus provides various facilities and opportunities to develop that.

The placement rate is excellent in IIT Roorkee with a success rate of 60-70%. Even in these unprecedented times, the college managed to successfully conduct placements online. The highest package this year being 1.5 crores per annum and highest domestic package of 45LPA.

Campus Life is a new world in itself. We have many student groups that brings in exposure and lets us develop our skills. Our allums are supportive and often guide with the jobs and placements. We have 2 magnificent fests conducted every year where students from different colleges visit our campus. Even at these times the campus is extremely safe. During the fest we need to return to our hostels by 12 am but during normal days we have 24/7 access both for boys and girls.
