Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering is 4-years full-time undergraduate engineering programme recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE, New Delhi) and offered by Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU), Bhilai (C.G.). Electrical engineering deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism, whih is further subdivided into a wide range of subfields including electronics, digital computers, power engineering, telecommunications, control systems, instrumentation, and microelectronics. Electrical engineering aspects ranges from power, control, micro-electronics, nano-electronics, signal processing, tele-communications, instrumentation and computers. They work on large power plants as well as in small hardware companies which includes designing, manufacturing and operating power plants, industrial machinery, electrical motors, computer chips and ignition systems for automobiles, aircrafts, space crafts and all kinds of engines.

Admission Details

CG Quota - Admission is carried out through Online Counselling being conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Govt. of Chhattisgarh. The Counselling is based on the Marks obtained in 10+2 and Score obtained in the Pre Engineering Test (PET) conducted by the State Govt.
Other State Quota - The Admission is carried out through Online Counselling being conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Govt. of Chhattisgarh. The Counselling is based on the Marks obtained in 10+2 and Score obtained in the Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main) at National Level.
Management Quota - The Admission is carried out internally at the Institute / College Level. Students from Chhattisgarh State, as well as Outside State, are eligible for Admission based on the Marks obtained in 10+2 and Score obtained in Pre Engineering Test (PET) / Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main).

College Infrastructure

Collefe infrastructure is ok condition. The all class room, libraries contion is good. Mostly i like here laboratories. The hostel is also good condition, hostel work culture is suitable for females.

My college experience is good.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is good. Class rooms, sports center are neat & clean but the library is very messy. Sometime i irritate because some electrical subject books are not here. Rungta college atmosphere is really good.
