As Sociology is the scientific study of social behavior, including its origins, development, organization, and institutions, which uses various methods of empirical investigation and critical analysis to develop a body of knowledge about social order, social disorder and social change, Salesian College engages itself as an academic institution to promote research, dissemination of knowledge and prepare the students to understand, critic and appreciate this discipline.
Eligibility Criteria
The Candidate should have passed 10+2 exam with:
1. 55% marks in the aggregate or
2. 55% in the aggregate and 60% in the subject of choice at the PUC/Plus Two examination.
3. In the case of students belonging to SC/ST category, this requirement is relaxed as per prevailing State Rules.
