      Academics

The teachers are good and helpful. The academic area is where our college is good. Teachers are helpful. They provide you with exam related questions and discussion. They supervise you with your project.

      Placements

Not really satisfied with this college.

      College Infrastructure

The college has wifi facility which never works. There is a full air conditioned library n the overall infrastructure is good. It's a NAAC accridited college, affiliated under university of calcutta .

      Academics

The teaching faculty is good they really help you getting best out of you bt have to face a lot of linguistic issues if u are a non bengali. Everything is now under the CBCS system. Apart from this the curriculum is always up to date.

      Placements

No placement. Once in a blue moon u might get a notification for TCS campus recruitment apart from that no placement. In b. Com u might get few placement opportunities through teachers. It ranks 0 in placement cell.

      Value for Money

The fee for my course as well as for other courses is very minimal(low) . It's near about ₹5000/sem for journalism hons like every other govt. College. The college is 80% waste of money

      Campus Life

There's no college campus u will have the worst campus life experience. There's a unhygienic canteen, a girls common room n a boys common room completely useless. The college provides no hostel facility but u can get plenty of pgs near by.

      Others

In Jaipuria there are no placements and has a high political influence . I was shortlisted in the first merit list of S.A Jaipuria College, went there for admissions ,didn't liked the ambience itself. Though the teaching faculty is good but u gonna face a lot of linguistic barrier if you are a non bengali. The college is good for b. Com , cut off list ends at 80% although u can bribe the college union for easy admission even if u have the lowest score u will easily get a seat just bribe.

      College Infrastructure

The college buildings are decent, although they’re a bit old but the insides are well kept and are nice.Overall nice atmosphere, clean classrooms and maintained. The other miscellaneous rooms too are kept up.

      Academics

Academics are okay here,as expected from any other college,we have to put in our efforts to learn, the professors teach what they are supposed to,but in order to learn one has to pay attention. The library is good for learning as well.

      Placements

There are some placement opportunities for us students, but since students come here for a basic bachelors’ degree, most go on to do their masters’ degree. Those who do not they appear for some job interviews.

      Value for Money

The course isn’t much costly and it is affordable for all classes of students.

      Campus Life

I more or less spend much time in classroom then come back home. The classrooms are decent and they are good to learn.

      Others

Overall the college is good for studying and that too in cheap.

My college has all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. My college classrooms are big and comfortable. It has a library provided with all the books and properly centralised which makes an soothing environment to study.

      Academics

I was studying commerce from this college because this college is said to be one of the best college in kolkata that is under Calcutta University. Yes all the curriculum are up to date in all our fields.

      Placements

Placement do come in our college but what kind of placement what percentage of students get placed what are the packages are not known to me.Ae per my knowledge average salary is near about 10,000 to 12,000.

      Value for Money

Yes it's worth of money as because the faculties are very good and helpfull. Around 5000 per year is the course fee.

      Campus Life

My college campus is not so good but the teachers, staff are very good. This college is located near shovabazar metro station.

      True and Honest and Unbaised

      College Infrastructure

Its an Old Governemnt Sponsered College and UNION Dominated also. Infrastructure was no upto mark with little or no Good things. Hygeine was something they were so afraid to keep. It had a very good liabrary though.

      Academics

Basically, some teachers came to teach only. Joined thinking will get a good college. I studied there B.Com Honours, as i was doing my Chartered Accountacy Course so it doesnot matter which college i go.

      Placements

Never tried and Never trusted also for that. I havent searched or believe college had any placement services in place. Though most of my friends were doing CA or MBA Along me, and out of those all my friends are either CA/CS/CWA/MBA now and earing a good amount of Salary.

      Value for Money

Fees was quite low, so cant say it was value for money. Overall we didnt got anything in return also for even few buck. Never been fond of this college, honestly speaking giving Rs. 350/- a quarter was nothing though we didnt got Rs. 350/- equivalent from College also.

      Campus Life

Apart from Union Rallies, enjoyed a lot with freinds. As such there was no such activities to enjoy. Students who were in unions use to terrorize us, and teacher didnt given any ear to us. It was located at Sovabazar. Not able to Handle any emergencies.

      College Infrastructure

College has one of best campus if you compared to another Calcutta University undertaking colleges. It has very neat and clean college campus. The college has beautiful ground with garden in campus. The college is decorated with many noble people.

      Academics

Faculty of the college is fantastic and they are very helpful to the science course curriculum. Teachers take regular exam what is a good part of their teaching. Teachers also provide pdf notes in whatsapp.

      Placements

There are many students who are placed in very reputed companies like Birla, Tata, Accenture etc. College give full opportunities to the students to prosper in their life. Also we got many internships from our college.

      College life

      College Infrastructure

Yes the college has got infrastructure which has been provided to all the students. The faculty has been too good always. Always supported the students for all the things. Library has always been full of books.

      Academics

One of the best faculty that the graduation college can provide. All the faculty members are very supportive. With all the projects and detailed discussion so that we can have a clear concept of the things we learn.

      Placements

Placement is a very serious and concentration matter. Teachers give us all the motivation for us to get the placements. And we are taught everything in such a way that we also want the placement to happen soon.

      Value for Money

I did not get placed from the college because i had planned for higher education. Hut for the ones who got placed were happy but switched jobs within a year almost and wanted to find better jobs than before.

      Campus Life

The campus was amazing. We had classes very large ones. There used to be a games room. A fountain. A small park. And building construction was in a U shape form. The library was very big and full of knowledge.

      Others

Everything was very nice. The three years in that college went by within a few clicks. Life wasnt certain. Classes happened with all energy, events happened with all enthusiasm. Teachers were friendly.

The college life experience was average and not as I thought

      Verified Review
      College Infrastructure

The college campus is spacious with big classrooms and well equipped facilities. The library is a blessing for students and you also have book counter for the students where you can buy books at a reasonable rate in the campus itself. There are seperate common room for girls and boys and sports room for interested students. Although, the canteen food tastes very bad and the toilets are not that clean.

      Academics

The college is best for commerce as we got much experienced and knowledgeable professors for our subjects. Students can clear their doubts with the teachers even after the classes. However, I think non-bengali students may face language barrier with some teachers.

      Placements

The college offers ample placement opportunities to final year students as well as passed out students. Well established companies like Amazon, Tcs, Concentrix, Indigo conducts their placement tests. The average package for commerce ranged from 12k to 22k.

      Value for Money

The fee structure is very affordable for students of any income group. You will definitely feel you got your money's worth. The average fee structure for commerce is approx ₹3000 per year including everything.

      Campus Life

The college organises different activities and programs for students to participate and enjoy like the sports day, Fests, Saraswati Puja, etc. The new students get a grand fresher's party conducted by their seniors. You can experience diversity in the college. The location is very convenient plus the street food outside the college is a bliss for students. However, there are some political issues faced.

      Others

The three years of college was an overall good experience. I got to make new friends and understand the culture of the place. However, being a non-bengali I faced language barrier in the initial year.

      average

      College Infrastructure

Our college have all the necessary infrastructure whether you talk about proper classrooms, chemistry lab, library and projector. Anyway, when it comes hygiene it doesn't stands upto the mark (by this I mean washroom and canteen).

      Academics

I'm a student of B.com(H) in Accounts & Finance. It is not the top college in the city so as expected the faculties are soo good in teaching. It is inappropriate for a student to judge his teacher but, it is what it is. Talking about the curriculum, it is managed by the University of Calcutta which got updated latest in 2017, it also happens to be the year I joined college.

      Placements

our college provides very ordinary placement options especially more like c-grade job, back office job where there is very limited growth for an individual with a moderate salary of 8k-16k pm. most of the students don't opt for it, soo the placements percentage remains stable and high.

      Value for Money

As it is a government college, the fees are pretty low. my course costs 5000-6000 p.a. compared to any similar private college offering the same course in 25000-40000. Soo, it goes in favour if somebody's looking for good ROI. but the quality of life inside campus is not good.

      Campus Life

The best part of the college is its library, pretty well maintained with all the latest books of different interest. And apparently the worst part are the faculties who don't teach according to the standard of the UG program. Students inside campus can indulge themselves in different activities which includes drama, dance, public speaking, debate, table tennis and not to forget gym.

      Others

If you are someone looking for enjoying your college life in the best possible way, this should cannot be your option. Although, if you are someone from lower middle class background who also happens to a dayjob and attend college in evening as its fees is relatively less. Thank You for your time.
